As we near the end of 2024 we are thinking back to some of our highlights from the past 365 days around the sun. Trips like those with Chowling and Benjamin come to mind, a family from Switzerland that surfed with us for a month. We always enjoy our long-term stays and all the extra time on the water that comes with it 🏄‍♂️

These groms from Surf Term grew a lot during their time here. Session after session, it was rewarding to see their confidence grow on the water as they harnessed their skills. After 5-weeks of daily lessons taking on the ocean, all while maintaining the good vibes, it’s safe to say they are ready for whatever lies ahead 🤙

This morning, as we began our lessons, we were blessed to witness the hatching of around 100 baby sea turtles directly in front of the rancho by our school in Guiones. They scrambled from their nest, hidden in plain sight, and emerged on the same path we use every day. Moments like this is why it is important to always have control of your dogs if you choose to take them to the beach and to always respect the nature here. Thank you to @nosaracivicassociation for their prompt arrival to help ensure their safety. These babies have a difficult journey ahead, but we are happy to say that every turtle hatched was able to make it to the water unharmed. #guanacaste #playaguiones #costarica #seaturtles
