Great news for Canadians wanting to travel.
There may just be an end in sight to this pandemic....

Canada has introduced a phased approach to easing border measures, starting with reduced restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers who are allowed entry to Canada.

As of July 5 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, fully vaccinated travellers, whether arriving by air or land, may be exempt from federal quarantine and the day 8 test requirements.

Additionally, travellers arriving by air who are fully vaccinated may no longer need to stay at a government-authorized accommodation.

Travellers will be considered fully vaccinated if they meet specific criteria, including having received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine, or a combination of vaccines, accepted by the Government of Canada, at least 14 days before entry to Canada. These travellers will be required to submit proof of vaccination in in English or French. Fully vaccinated travellers may still receive notifications from ArriveCAN after entry, but are not required to respond.

All other testing and quarantine requirements remain in place for travellers who are not fully vaccinated.
