LOS COLIBRIES DEL CONTINENTE AMERICANO

También conocidos como troquilidos, los colibries forman un grupo monofilético, esto quiere decir que poseen un origen común de aproximadamente 340 especies, que varían en forma, tamaño corporal y conducta. Este conjunto de aves es después de los mosqueros, familia (Tyrannidae), el grupo monofilético de pájaros más diverso del continente americano.
Los colibries tienen el cerebro🧠 más grande de todas las aves relativamente al tamaño de sus cuerpos. Esto podría ser porque un cerebro grande permite hacer frente a los desafíos de la vida y facilita el desarrollo de respuestas a estímulos del medio ambiente los cuales requieren adaptabilidad eficazmente.

We had a family of 5 for one of our birding-wild tours. I have not post photographs of aminals and birds becouse I was focusing on pictures of the family but any way there is soo much to see around here.

La Península de Osa es un sitio muy diverso el cual nos permite explorar una gran riqueza de flora y fauna en tan solo unos cuantos días. 🇨🇱Desde Chile nos visita Diego, un joven muy comprometido con la naturaleza y con un espiritu aventurero. Su objetivo era visitar el Parque Nacional Corcovado, se llevo tres dantas juntas, 2 estaban durmiendo y una activa. A lo largo del viaje en bote miramos delfines aves marinad incleibles y muchas otras especies que se sumaron a la lista durante este viaje a Corcovado.

Birding with a family from Maryland was my day today, I had 2 princess and their parents 4 amd 8 years old girls, they really enjoyed this trip even beacouse of the heat of this last days. We saw colorful birds and other wildlife from very close, we where very exited, the place was a paradise and the tide was coming up and tide poles where at a perfect temperture. A great day and I am vey happy to share with them a part of the wildlife of the Osa Península.

COMIDA COLORIDA, PLUMAS COLORIDAS

Las aves son lo que comen. Todos los componentes que maquillan una aves paso por su boca (con excepción de los nutrientes que reciven del huevo donde empiezan su vida). Apesar de todo la variedad de comida de las aves, casi toda las comidas son construidas casi compleamente de los mismas tipo basicos de moleculas: proteina, grasa, and carbohydratos. Esas sustancias son moleculas grandes compuestas de subunidades repetitivas. Cuando las aves digieren su alimento, ellas rompen esas grandes momeculas en un unidades basicas: proteinas en aminoacidos, grasa en acidos y glycerol, carbohidatos en azucares, y ADN y RNA en acidos nucleoicos. Esos basicos bloques de la vida son absorbidos por medio los intestinos y movidos dentro de las celulas dentro del cuerpo. De esos componentes derivados de la comida. Las aves crean su propieda proteinas, grasas, carbohidatos, DNA y RNA. Ellas usan esos o tros compomentes para contruir su propios pigmentos melanina, psittafulvina, turacin y turacoverdina. Los carotenoides a diferencia tienen q ser comidos y direjidos a diferentes partes del cuerpo e intactos.

RAPTORS HUNTING AND COLORATION🔴FOLLOW US❗
😲Black Hawk coloration and hunting.🏴

A member of the accipitridae family, the Black Hawk, an excelent hunter. As we can see, black hawks coloration is abuntand in consentration of melaning in feathers. It seems that this color is key for this specie living in some ecosystems. So, what is that reason?
Let's see. A black hawk perched in a bear branch, it is just one more shadow to some natural prey, when black hawks approaches to prey, it follows the brightness of the sun's rays in its favor, beacouse the prey does not have a good eyedsight in that angle. So when preys gets to see the black hawks shadow aproching is too late , they have not chance to scape.

Of course the are more natural reasons why this species is black in color.
