Changing Tide Tours has had over 7,500 guests tour the Golfo Dulce with us during the past eight years. We are proud of the fact that, in addition to being the longest operating tour boat provider on the OSA and Golfito, we are also known as the ‘Premium Tour’ on the Gulf. That's because our custom-built tour boats are safe, comfortable and well equipped; and they are always manned by a profession

al, licensed Captain and English speaking Guide team. Come with us and enjoy a fun, informative, 25+ mile guided tour as the Golfo Dulce (‘Sweet Gulf’) serves up its many “magical” wonders. Whales, Dolphins, Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, Sea Turtles, numerous Fish, and Sea Birds—all these have been seen by our guests. Our tour boats are equipped with quiet, eco-friendly four stroke motors, contoured seats and a full-canopy sun top for your comfort and protection. After a short crossing, you will experience the Gulf’s lush, rugged Eastern Shore, up close and personal to "one of the world’s three tropical fjords." Along with your Dolphin Cruise and informative eco- tour, your crew will offer Swimming, Snorkeling and Plane Boarding when and where conditions permit. And when you return to the boat, you can enjoy a fresh water rinse and fresh fruit. Tour is 4-5 hours.

Do you see the white spots on the adult dolphins?

As they grow older, spots will appear on their bodies, this is why they’re called “Spotted Dolphins” and they are one of the two resident species of the Golfo Dulce.

Females give birth to a single calf after almost a year long gestation, and weaning occurs at 18 months.
