The house was fabulous! The in-door/out-concept is perfect for the location.
The view is spectacular, especially at sunset and the location is private. The location is outside main the Dominical town but close enough, 15 minute drive (10 minutes driving out of the jungle).

The house was spacious with nice sized bedrooms that each had AC. The living room and kitchen both flowed to outside. Yamil provided a local phone to use while we were there which was a nice benefit for confirming our excursions or
contacting Yamil.

A couple minor maintenance issues arose during our stay that Yamil immediately addressed. Being right in the jungle we enjoyed seeing toucans and hawks everyday along with an ocasional frog in the pool. Dailey we heard howler monkeys, although then never visited us.
The location was private and very quiet so that you could enjoy the nature sounds.
Yamil was the perfect host.

During communication with Yamil prior to arriving we were able to arrange for transportation to Dominical for the airport in San Jose. The driver Gilbert was very safe and also provided interesting information about Costa Rica along the way. Gilbert also stopped at a local vegetable market and a grocery store so that we could pick supplies for the house. On the way back Gilbert arranged for a tour of a family run coffee plantation, very interesting and educational.

When we arrived at the house Yamil was waiting there with a rental car (4 wheel drive). So once we arrived at the house all we had to after a long travel day was unpack, relax and enjoy the view.

Yamil also setup excursions for things we like to do.kayaking through the mangroves
(boa constrictors, monkeys, sloths, and lots of birds), kayaking and snorkeling at the Whale Tail (lobster, octopus, el, coral, fish), white water rafting, fishing, horseback riding to waterfalls.

If we are ever in this area again we would definitely stay here!
