Es a la vez un saludo y una despedida; un "buenos días"; una respuesta a la pregunta "cómo estás?"; una expresión pronunciada en momentos de alegría extrema, de brindis, de goce.
El PURA VIDA simboliza para los ticos la simplicidad del buen vivir, humildad, abundancia, bienestar, alegría, felicidad, optimismo, energía positiva.

PURA VIDA = VIDA SIMPLE

No es solo una expresión sino una filosofía y estilo de vida.
Significa "buenos días", "todo está bien", "no hay problema", "no te preocupes", "todo es perfecto", "muchas gracias".
En esta playa de Cocles, Puerto Viejo, pude sentir la plenitud de esa expresión ✨💫🏝️

En el pueblito de Puerto Viejo hay muchas playas hermosas, pero donde se ubica esta lanchita tiene un nombre peculiar: Chino Beach. El nombre proviene de la histórica tienda Manuel León que era conocida como «el Chino».

For some, the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. The small, laid back fishing village of Manzanillo is the last town due south of Puerto Viejo de Limon.

The town is located within the Gandoca- Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, which has great hiking routes that will take you to some stunning small beaches.
