One could rent a car at the airport and drive approximately 3.5 hours to Quepos/Manuel Antonio on good roads or fly from San Jose to Quepos and arrange for car rental after arrival at one of the local agencies. Flights take about 25 minutes. Or choose to use local shuttle or taxi service once you arrive.
