I wrote to a good friend this morning. "Good to hear from you and thanks so much for listening! I do tend to get high on nature and the Magnificat Frigates are so graceful floating around looking for chum from the fishermen down on the beach. So much inspiration here the songs just write themselves sometimes."

A Red Capped Manakin (Pipra mentalis) has been enjoying the berries from one of the fruit trees by the driveway with several scarlet macaws. Last night it spent the evening on the couch on the veranda and woke up this morning and flew into the only window we have but with a little love and comfort it regained its bearings and flew off to join his mates at the berry tree! I said he because the females are green and less flamboyant.
