Sodas are small eateries of Tico (Costa Rican) cuisine, where you can find all sorts of traditional Costa Rican dishes. These spots are less fancy and much more relaxed than regular restaurants. Sodas are usually ran as family businesses so the ambience is always warm and welcoming. Flashback Friday!!

A LOT has changed since I published this back in 2015.

For instance the largest ship that passed through the canal now was the Zephyr weighing in at 154,995 tons in July of 2022 according to Guiness World Records. And the largest toll paid went from $300,000 to a whopping $829,000!!

Guess it is time for an update. But with the Panama Canal in the news again lately, I guess I will wait and see how things roll out in the next few months.
