Our Story

Our president, founder and biggest promoter, Daniel Chavarria, began Profimercadeo S.A. in 1996 in order to meet a need in Costa Rica for consulting services to national tourism operators. Daniel’s passion for travel and dynamic charisma make him a powerful force in the international travel industry.

We’re thoroughly familiar with the needs of the tourism market. Our positive energy, creativity and imagination bring us continued success. Over the years, our professional expertise combined with solid experience, and our commitment to excellence, has helped us deliver solutions to our clients’ needs. We are constantly updating our vision and knowledge of the market trends and ensure that our office provides ultramodern technical infrastructure. We are specialists in online marketing, social media marketing, tourism marketing, and web page design and development.

In addition to all of our marketing, graphic design, web design, public relations and E-commerce services, we are proud owners of the Enchanting Hotels brand – a collection of small, charming, luxury hotels and lodges throughout Costa Rica. Each features its own original character and style with first class services conceived for a demanding upscale tourist. We include in our group an exclusive selection of tourist attractions and specialized tours with the same concept of personalized and outstanding service.

We believe in positive environmental hotel practices, and are committed to the Costa Rican Tourism Board’s CST certification of sustainable tourism. We do our best to collaborate with organizations that foster sustainable tourism, such as the Rainforest Alliance and C-Neutral Certificate.
