Had an amazing time in Colorado a few weeks back. We were touring CSU in Fort Collins and stayed a few extra days in Tabernash. The scenery, resort, people and fishing were amazing. It's an Orvis endorsed lodge and my guide John Tilstra taught me the art of euro nymphing. We smacked them pretty good. Tomorrow will be the first tournament of the season for us. We’re fishing the rerunning of the Dorado Derby. Headed out yesterday on a short sea-trial after having prop work and maintenance completed. We saw a lot of small fish, but did manage to bring one home around 20 #. Wish us luck.

We need a couple of these guys and a grande.

A little smoked tuna tonight. Marinated in teriyaki, sesame oil, Worcestershire, red pepper flakes, garlic powder and chili powder. Smoked at 225 until inside temp was 135. Delish! Also made a smoked tuna fish dip.
