We are back at The Darcy to check in after a couple months away and a few visitors! Adding a backsplash to the kitchen but it is looking good! As owners who want our clients to have the best experience possible it is important to check in every 2-3 months to make sure all is well and any fixes get done and upgrades are made. New fridge went in last week!

We just came back from an amazing 9 days in Costa Rica which was a non working vacation this time.

We stayed for 5 nights at The Darcy where we enjoyed amazing food at various restaurants in Tamarindo including Trio, La Boca, Pangas, The Red Door and La Oveja. The weather and the sunsets were perfect. And our company was fabulous too! 🥰. We then moved on to Cabanas Caeli in San Ramos near La Fortuna in the midst of the rainforest. Truly a beautiful memorable vacation for the books! 💕. It was absolutely amazing and we are so grateful to had these adventures with great friends whom we adore and love to bits! Evenings in Costa Rica are all about the sunsets! One of our favourite places to watch the sunset is for amazing margaritas, espresso martinis and ceviche. Directly across the street from The Darcy it will become a regular habit for you if you visit too!

Did you know that Green season is our favourite time to visit? April through August the land starts to green up with a bit of rain here and there and you see all of the lush surrounding that CR has to offer. We can’t wait to get back in April and gradually see things start to bloom again! And it’s less busy but still has that vibe that we fell in love with. 🌴🌴

We are so happy to say that our new sofa bed has arrived and it couldn’t be more perfect! Now The Darcy can comfortably sleep 6-7 people….and can we talk about the colour? It is a beautiful yellow to bring out the sunshine in your vacation! ☀️

We are absolutely thrilled that we are 85% booked for high season! We have the following dates available ONLY for these months and you will be one of the first guests to stay in the newly renovated/restyled space. We haven't updated the photos of the bathrooms yet, and we have a brand new sofa bed coming for the living space so we can now sleep 6 - 7 comfortably!

We are so thrilled!!! Yesterday Sam of came to deliver this beautiful masterpiece she created for our dining room! She has so much talent, and she’s such a genuine soul. She really cares about her art and that it is just perfect for the space it’s designed for. We highly recommend her if you are ever looking! When you stay at The Darcy, you’ll see this hanging in the wall and know that it was hand crafted by Sam! ❤️

One of our favourite restaurant experiences in Tamarindo was at . We went for my birthday when we were there in August and it was spectacular. The view of the estuary, the sunset, the food, the chairs and to top it all off the family of monkeys in the trees above made it a magical night. Service was top notch and super friendly….highly recommend it. If you get a chance to go, please do. 😊🍹🌴. Can’t wait to go back.

November really is a great time to travel to Costa Rica! Flights from Canada are still great pricing as it is before high season, weather is fabulous and we have a special going on! CAD rates on par with USD at $199 per night (they go up in December but we are booked now until mid March! ) 😊😊
