David is there right now and just had the BEST tacos at Little Luca Taqueria and saw a family of monkeys in the tree close to Green Papaya. You never know what you are going to see when you visit The Darcy!

The last time we stayed at The Darcy in August, we combined it with a one night stay at The Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin so that we could take in the waterfalls and some river tubing. The backsplash is in and we are so pleased with it! A little goes a long way to make a place cozy!

We are starting to book up for high season already with the Christmas/New Year block booked as well as the second half of January and all of February.

We are back at The Darcy to check in after a couple months away and a few visitors! Adding a backsplash to the kitchen but it is looking good! As owners who want our clients to have the best experience possible it is important to check in every 2-3 months to make sure all is well and any fixes get done and upgrades are made. New fridge went in last week!

We just came back from an amazing 9 days in Costa Rica which was a non working vacation this time.

We stayed for 5 nights at The Darcy where we enjoyed amazing food at various restaurants in Tamarindo including Trio, La Boca, Pangas, The Red Door and La Oveja. The weather and the sunsets were perfect. And our company was fabulous too! 🥰. We then moved on to Cabanas Caeli in San Ramos near La Fortuna in the midst of the rainforest. Truly a beautiful memorable vacation for the books! 💕. It was absolutely amazing and we are so grateful to had these adventures with great friends whom we adore and love to bits! Evenings in Costa Rica are all about the sunsets! One of our favourite places to watch the sunset is for amazing margaritas, espresso martinis and ceviche. Directly across the street from The Darcy it will become a regular habit for you if you visit too!

Did you know that Green season is our favourite time to visit? April through August the land starts to green up with a bit of rain here and there and you see all of the lush surrounding that CR has to offer. We can’t wait to get back in April and gradually see things start to bloom again! And it’s less busy but still has that vibe that we fell in love with. 🌴🌴
