Everything from start to finish of the adventure tour was executed so smoothly and so perfectly. This company and their guides are extremely professional, experienced and work to ensure your safety and comfort 100% of the time. Experience level is not a concern for them, and they will complete all the activities to fulfill your needs. The guides we had were all local, and had decades worth of experience in kayaking, rafting, hiking, climbing, etc.. They all spoken English fluently and shared beautiful stories and facts about the surrounding areas of Turrialba, CR. The accommodations we stayed in were amazing, especially the Eco Lodge which sits alongside the Pacuare River. The food was fantastic and locally sourced. The airport pickup, drop off and all other transportation in between was so punctual and so smooth. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Costa Rica! It is a beautiful and fun way to see the country off the beaten path and get to know some of the locals and some other travellers. As a young solo female traveller, I felt extremely safe and well taken care of by Costa Rica Rios. I’ll be back!"

New 5.0-star Review: "A Trip of a Lifetime!I was so elated when I found Costa Rica Rios because they could help customize the trip I was envisioning going on with my family. I simply gave them the areas of Costa Rica we were interested in seeing and the types of activities we like and they put together an amazing 10-day trip itinerary! From the hotel stays to the activities to the private shuttles, this trip was exceptional. The only thing I would suggest is that they give details in the itinerary such as the driver name, guide names/companies, and a detailed description of what attire is necessary. Everything always worked out and we had an exceptional time so no big complaints here. Must see/dos from our trip were Manuel Antonio (Si Como No hotel was wonderful and so was our guided tour with Pablo), Domincal (paragliding with Zion), and the ziplining in Monteverde."

New 5.0-star Review: "A truly memorable week of adventures!Costa Rica Rios put together an incredible 12 days of fun adventures for a group of friends. They went above and beyond to offer a range of activities for folks with different interests: whitewater kayaking/canoeing, rafting (CRR river guides were great!), bird/wildlife watching, hiking, zip lining, beaches, mangroves, etc. Transportation and lodging around the country were prearranged, which made the trip seamless as we experienced different areas of Costa Rica. Tour guides contracted by CRR at the various locations (Biological Reserve, Hanging Bridges, Manuel Antonio NP, mangrove kayaking, etc.) were all top notch. So many opportunities to see and learn! For pure relaxation, I especially appreciated the time at Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa for long soaks in the super relaxing hot springs, surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage. The only changes I would make to this trip would be to upgrade from a standard room at Villa Florencia, where we had no a/c and no ventilation (the room was apparently being updated). Additionally, we could have used a roomy transport van with better air flow for the transfer from the La Fortuna area to Manuel Antonio. The rest of the transfers were fine, and the roomier van from MA back to SJO was much comfortable for the group."

New 5.0-star Review: "Adventure vacation in Costa RicaMy daughter, husband and I booked the seven day adventure trip with Costa Rica Rios. Everything about the trip was amazing. Our guide (Ninja) was 100% attentive and made sure that everything was taken care of. We had three bad rain days which meant that some of the activities were cancelled but the crew did everything possible to make sure we had a great time. The country is beautiful and part of the trip was staying in an Eco Lodge in the middle of the jungle. It was truly authentic. The crew cooked all our meals which were fresh and delicious. There was so much than what was described. We sucked sugar from freshly cut sugar cane, ate bananas picked from the trees, saw monkeys, toucans, sloths, snakes and other wildlife, spent two days white water rafting, went white water kayaking, swam through rapids and waterfalls, swung over the rainforest on a cable, made burritos at the farm of one of the guides, listened to the rain on the tin roof of the cabins we slept in, went boogie boarding in the Carribean, spent an evening watching a Christmas parade, ate at local restaurants, took an outdoor yoga class and hiked many miles. We were so touched by the kindness of the people. We always had too much food when we were out doing activities and the guides would offer it to anyone passing by, The sense of community in Costa Rica is strong. What made the trip so special were the guides who stayed with us for the whole trip. They were fun, patient, prepared, hardworking, and always ready to go above and beyond. Without a doubt this was one of the best vacations we have ever had. I read somewhere that Costa Rica is the happiest country in the world, which based on its beauty and people I can completely believe it. Thank you Costa Rica Rios for an unforgettable vacation."

New 5.0-star Review: "Week of RiversWe initially contacted CRR for the Week One of Rivers, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We were a group of 18 so a lot of us to organise, both on and off the river!! This was no problem for the CRR team. Guides were fab, they know the rivers like the back of their hands, and were very encouraging. Everything about the week was fantastic, rivers, accommodation, general accommodation, we would do it again at the drop of a hat!! CRR also organised trips pre and post the week of rivers for a number of us. Great recommendations, organisation etc.When I return to Costa Rica I would not hesitate to use CRR again."
