The Las Baulas National Marine Park covers 167.3 square kilometers and is one of the largest nesting sites in the world for endangered leatherback turtles. Take a boat tour of the park or enjoy the views from Casa Reina’s extensive pool deck. Being eye level with the birds as they sore over the tree tops is a highlight of any day.

Playa Grande Beach and Las Baulas Nature Reserve are located directly south of Casa Reina. In order to maximize views each bedroom and living space has its own south facing covered terrace. The deep overhangs create a comfortable place to relax and help to limit sun exposure to the interior, making a more energy efficient and sustainable home.
