One of our new favorite places to go is a Macaw refuge about 35 min drive from the farm at La casa de las lapas. Río Cuarto de Alajuela.. These birds are wild : their love for peanuts has been cause for some of them to develope a certain amount of trust with humans. Feed at your own risk!
