During the four nights will have an opportunity to see 12 silent films accompanied by 12 music ensembles from 12 other countries, numerous performances of various cultures, and much more awaits you at the first international festival of silent films accompanied by live music in Backi Petrovac (the Serb
ian autonomous province of Vojvodina). Experience the end of summer in a courtyard of theater VHV Petrovec, under lanterns, old films with romance, horror, comedy.. and great live music. Follow our page and you will be informed not only about the news of the festivals program but other things as well. You are more than welcome to SOS FEST - VISEGRAD MEETS BALKAN! Festival (sa skraćenim nazivom SOS FEST) će se prvi put održati u gradiću Bački Petrovac u Vojvodini, Srbija, koji se smatra kulturnim centrom Slovaka koji žive u Srbiji. Radi se o jedinstvenoj akciji ovakvog karaktera u jugoistočnoj Evropi. Tokom svake od četiri festivalske večeri posetioci će imati priliku da pogledaju 3 ili 4 nema filma uz muzičku interpretaciju uvek drugačijom muzičkom formom. Učešće na festivalu su potvrdili grupe i solisti iz svih zemalja bivše Jugoslavije, kao i grupe iz Češke, Slovenije i Mađarske. Izbor muzičkih grupa i filma je urađen na dobro promišljen način sa ciljem da nastane interesantna dramaturgija festivala. Naprimer klasični, prvi nemi filmi o Janošiku iz 1921. će biti projektovan uz muzičku interpretaciju funk-rok grupe Gipsy Groove sa Kosova, dokumentarni nemi film Prag u sjaju svetla će interpretirati češki steper Jan Bursa, klasiku među nemim filmovima Metropolis muzički će obraditi duo bubnjara Spoje, prvi nemi film u boji Život i smrt Isusa Krista iz 1904. će interpretirati virtuoz na violini Katarina Pavlović iz Crne Gore, itd. Osim toga, festival će ponuditi i široku muzičku skalu, od klasične muzike, do psihodeličnu muziku, rock, ethno, po jazz, a prezentovaće i izvanredne muzičare sa Balkana, kao što je saksofonista Jure Pukl, klavirista Simon Kiselicki, i nagrađivan Eyot (detaljan program je priložen). Festival će se održati u dvorištu Pozorišta VHV u Bačkom Petrovcu, u specijalno postavljenom letnjem bioskopu, gde će posetioci naći i barove, restoran, chill-out zonu, iznajmiti bicklove.

The first year of the festival has ended and we're happy that it was born. SOS FEST će nedelju dana pre početka festivala imati plesnu radionicu koju će predavati jedan od najboljih čeških tap dencera - Jan Bursa. Zainteresovani će biti u mogućnosti da nauče osnove stepa i način na koji ga mogu još dodatno da razviju. Radionica će se održati od 17-21 Avgusta 2015. u pozorištu VHV u Bačkom Petrovcu svakog dana 1.5 sata sa početkom u 19h. Svi zainteresovani neka se prijave u inbox.
