At St. Thomas More School you’ll find many ways to get involved. Whether it’s participating in weekend activities, cheering for your classmates at home games, starting a new club with like-minded friends, or challenging the Alumni in basketball during Spring Fling, there is always something to do!

We have numerous clubs available, plus regularly scheduled on- and off- campus activities. These activities, combined with access to the boathouse and the waterfront on Gardner Lake, ensure you will find things to do that are fun and fulfilling. Clubs change yearly, based on student interest and initiative, so if you have a passion you would like to share with your fellow students, you can work with the Dean of Students to create A new club. The word "College" in the U.K. is synonymous to "high school" in many other regions while higher education in the UK is usually called "University." Students commonly choose between either Academic programs like A-levels offered by Sixth Form Colleges in preparation for University or Vocational programs.

We have to share this heartwarming host family story. The Richards Family from Virginia shared this with us...

"My wife's family hosted a Brazilian student in 1977. She & my wife have stayed in touch ever since. She now lives in Paris. Last week her daughter brought her son to visit..so my 97 year old father in-law got to see his "ES granddaughter & ES great grandson!! Our students, Maja & Francesca were so happy to meet them!! Exchange family is for life!"
