🎤 Instead of prepping for his concert tonight, it seems Sir Rod decided to take a deep dive into some sociological research. We caught him casually sitting, almost like he was waiting for a bus or a cab🚍, but we all know he was really analyzing market prices and comparing the quality of tomatoes and cucumbers. 😂

Maybe he's planning to start a side gig as a market analyst? Or perhaps he's just ensuring he gets the best fresh produce for his post-concert snack! Either way, seeing a rock star in such a down-to-earth moment is a reminder that Belgrade's charm enchants everyone.

So if you're headed to his concert tonight, remember, the man singing "Maggie May" might just give you tips on where to find the best fruits and veggies in town! 🍅🥒

We tour guides make it a point to stay updated with the latest developments and actively participate in events concerning domestic tourism to ensure that our guests receive the most accurate and valuable information.

🧑‍🍳Last evening, the we ladies from .serbia Managing Board had the pleasure of attending the ceremony at the Hyatt Hotel, organized by the Serbian Tourism Organization and the esteemed gastronomic guide "Gault & Millau." It marked the third consecutive year of recognizing outstanding achievements in Serbian gastronomy with the prestigious "Chef's Hat" award. Additionally, the printed edition for 2024 focusing on Serbia was unveiled during the event.

📈What were the key takeaways from last night?
We were presented with data that instills a sense of optimism! According to Ms. Mira Šemić, Director of Gault Millau Slovenia, Serbia is not merely ascending but is vigorously striving towards culinary excellence! She emphasized that gastronomic tourism stands out as the most lucrative and esteemed form of tourism, with Serbian culinary offerings and wines receiving high praise.

Actually, our gastronomy leaves a lasting impression on foreign tourists, ranking among the top 5 aspects they admire about Serbia. Furthermore, Serbia achieved a record-breaking foreign exchange income of 2.558 billion euros in 2023 solely from foreign tourists, positioning it as a global leader in tourism growth!

🧑‍🤝‍🧑Whom did we meet?
We had the pleasure of reconnecting with numerous colleagues from the tourism, hospitality, and wine sectors, with whom we share collaborative ties. We exchanged positive experiences and proudly showcased our Association of Tourist Guides of Serbia - UTVS.

🥘🍷What delights did we savor?
We had the privilege of sampling delicacies from award-winning restaurants and talented chefs, spanning both traditional Serbian and international cuisines, accompanied by fine wines from renowned local vineyards.

🏙️ Veliki broj komšija i sugrađana prisustvovao je u nedelju turi Arhitektura novobeogradskih blokova, povodom Svetskog dana turističkih vodiča (21. februar), u okviru programa koji svake godine organizujemo za građanstvo.

Ova tura je mali lokalpatriotski doprinos podizanju svesti o kulturnom nasleđu u kome živimo i o arhitekturi socijalističkog modernizma u službi komunističke ideologije, kada je ona živela svoju humanu misiju - ukidanja socijalne nejednakosti.

Pričalo se o vremenu kada se radilo i gradilo po meri čoveka, a u saradnji sa akademijom građevinska preduzeća razvijala inovacije u cilju kvalitetne i brze gradnje prefabrikovanim betonskim elementima. U blokovima 61-64 korišćeni su IMS-Žeželj i Rad-Balansi.

Idejno rešenje blokova kao džinovskih stepenica dao je Josip Svoboda u duhu tzv. "herojske moderne", a južne delove projektovao poznati bračni par arhitekata Marušić Milenija i Darko. Najpoznatije njihovo delo, naselje Cerak Vinogradi, od 2019. uvršteno je u stalnu izložbu Muzeja moderne umetnosti u Nju Jorku i zaštićeno je kao kulturno dobro Rep. Srbije. Cerak Vinogradi jedno od 3 zaštićena naselja u Evropi!

Javne ture .serbia za građanstvo su uvek besplatne, a ove godine su bile humanitarnog karaktera - u svrhu prikupljanja pomoći za lečenje našeg kolege Dragana Subotića. Hvala na doniranih 4.450 dinara u nedelju. Našem kolegi takođe možete pomoći i slanjem sms poruke sa sadržajem 230 na broj 3800.

Hvala i policiji koja je na turu poslala svoje službenike jer se brine o našoj bezbednosti. Drago nam je što su nam i lično dali podršku i verujemo da će nakon "časa istorije" novobeogradskih blokova još predanije raditi u interesu njihovih stanovnika sa svojim kolegama.

🏆Last night, the .serbia team attended the 38th annual "Tourism Blossom" awards ceremony by the Serbian Tourist Organization (TOS) for outstanding achievements in Serbian tourism.

We passionately cheered and took photos with our dear Sabahudin , who was nominated in the Influencer-Blogger category.

Even though he didn't receive official recognition this time, he's a winner to us, showcasing the beauty of Peštera in the most beautiful way and putting great effort into it.
