·Hram Svetog Save u Beogradu izgrađen je u srpsko-vizantijskom stilu

·Ideja o izgradnji hrama Svetog Save potekla je daleke 1879. godine

· Izgradnja hrama je započela 10. maja 1939. godine, uz svečano postavljanje temelja.

·Trideset godina nakon završetka Drugog svetskog rata, patrijarh German je, u prisustvu srpskih arhijereja, položio povelju o nastavku radova i ponovo osvetio hram.

·Najteži arhitektonski poduhvat prilikom izgradnje hrama bio je podizanje centralne kupole teške 4 hiljade tona.

·Vrh kupole visok je 70 metara, dok je glavni pozlaćeni krst visok dodatnih 12 metara.
