💲PRICING💲: All pricing in our Services section has been updated to US DOLLARS.

😷COVID-19 PROTOCOLS😷: The use of a mask or face covering will NOT be mandatory while in the vehicle. If you would feel more comfortable for Pepe to wear a mask or face covering, please advise him at the time of booking. We encourage all clients to bring one with them anyway, depending on the stops/tours they plan to make.

🏩AID/GIFTS/CHARITIBLE DONATIONS🏩: We get many inquiries as to gifting, medical supplies and aid. There are clients who would like to stop at an orphanage, healthcare center or local Church that provides missionary services. We encourage you to speak with Pepe prior to your trip and he can advise on how to go about providing charity. More often than not, people leave things with him and he has a few locations where he makes frequent drop offs. Items that are always sought after (especially now) are; medicines, hygiene products, school and office supplements and shoes/clothing.

Good morning Facebook friends!

Thanks again for your patience during Pepe's car restorations. As most of you know it's quite difficult to get the correct parts in Cuba. Pepe has also been enjoying his time with his new baby boy born in December.

Pepe has asked that I let all of you know he will begin accepting alternative currencies; CDN Dollars, US Dollars, Euro, Pound Sterling etc. for his services. All prices for now are shown in CUC on our services page. As most of you may be aware; the Cuban Government is moving away from the Cuban Convertible Peso. They haven't fully collapsed the currency yet, so until we all get a final word that it is no longer being used, we will keep the prices the same on the page.

As always, please contact him directly for bookings, inquiries regarding your existing bookings or questions on particular services that are not offered in the services section on this page. This page is monitored by friends of Pepe from Canada and the UK and you will recieve an auto response when sending direct messages to the page.

Good morning you lovely people, following on from Lauren’s post regarding the posts about Pepe I would like to thank you all for your continued support for our wonderful friend “Pepe”.
In the 15 years that I have been visiting Cuba & have that have known Pepe, i can honestly say that I have only heard & seen wonderful things about him.
He’s always been on hand to help everyone & he never discriminates against anyone.

The group admin on the so called friends of MCC banned me some time ago for advertising Pepes page & because I said something that he didn’t agree with regarding the hotel managements unfair treatment against a man whom was just trying to make a living.
Tony & his group would be no loss to the world of social media but his continued comments could damage our great friends business reputation so please continue to share, like & promote Pepe & his page in any way that you can .

Good evening,
For those of you who don’t know; this page is run by Pepe’s friends in both Canada and the UK. Specifically myself, Lauren & my husband Elier (met at Melia Cayo Coco in 2006, and have been married for 6 years) and Steve from the UK, who also met his wife at Melia Cayo Coco and has been happily married for almost 10 years. We are an international family made up of both tourists and locals with a unique point of view.

This weekend there have been some comments posted on a Melia Cayo Coco fan page that need to be addressed. To begin, I personally have been banned from Tony Barnett’s page for almost 6 months as I felt the need to let people know that management at Melia were not letting Pepe pick up guests at the front lobby. Apparently that was information that was not to be shared…This was ultimately resolved as it was a form of discrimination against Pepe for being a former employee.

Mr. Barnett has launched an attack on Pepe and his business through his page. I want to clarify the following:
1. We have not received a complaint directly to this page for any sort of discrimination. If we did, we would take it quite seriously and would want that rectified immediately.
2. We have not received a bad review for poor service. Low star reviews are always responded to and we welcome any and all constructive criticism.
3. Things happen and it’s Cuba. Pepe is trying to make a living for himself and the following will occur:
a. He might not be able to respond to your email request in 24 hours.
b. He might not be right on time for your pick up (it’s Cuba, and it’s a car from the 50’s)
c. He might have to send someone in his absence due to a family emergency

Things happen, people understand. What people do not understand is the fact that someone gets to sit behind his computer, and delete/ban people from his group, for defending a business and an entrepreneur.

Pepe has a right to defend his livelihood. I would ask that those who have made those complaints directly to Mr. Barnett make them directly to us. We appreciate the messages we have received from people letting us know what Mr. Barnett has been posting, and we appreciate the defense of Pepe from all corners of the globe. This will be our one and only statement regarding Mr. Barnett and his group.
