The Sierra Maestra Mountains, seen from “La Gran Piedra”, a beautiful landscape. Who would have thought that the young charismatic men who started a war against a cruel dictator would become our oppressors? Life is funny, nature is beautiful, politics sucks.

This character has never had my admiration, a fanatic as he was. This statue strikes me as an example of propaganda disguised as art. But if you would buy a shirt with his image on it, be my guest, becoming merchandise is his worst punishment.
