Skylight of the José Martí National Library of Cuba, in , .
It was designed by the Frenchman Auguste Labouret, a 20th century glass master; and was made to be one of the distinctive architectural elements of the building.
The ornamental figures that make up its twenty glass panels give it a certain allegorical character, related to the importance of knowledge and the mysteries of wisdom.

Naval Battle of Santiago de Cuba took place on July 3, 1898 at the exit of Santiago de Cuba Bay during the Spanish-American War.

Remains of the Spanish armored cruiser Cristóbal Colón, sunk by its own crew on Sunday, July 3, 1898, very close to the mouth of the Turquino River, after escaping the siege in the bay of Santiago de Cuba.
Today it is part of the Naval Battle Archaeological Park of SantiagodeCuba, a national monument, and is a must-see dive site for diving lovers who visit .

Naval Battle of Santiago de Cuba took place on July 3, 1898 at the exit of Santiago de Cuba Bay during the Spanish-American War.

The Spanish armored cruiser Almirante Oquendo, one of the ships of Admiral Pascual Cervera's fleet lost in the naval battle. Stranded a few meters from Juan González beach. This ship, converted into a wreck, is one of the conservation objectives of the 1898 Naval Battle Archaeological Park, declared a National Monument of .

The 100 years of the Bartenders Club of the Republic of Cuba (now the Cuban Bartenders Association) are celebrated this week, from the 25th to the 27th, in , , with a program of activities that combines competition, culture and camaraderie in a tradition atmosphere.
Founded on June 27, 1924, then as the Bartenders Club of the Republic of Cuba, the current Association is the oldest of its kind in the world.
It brings together 1,500 specialists, is a member of the International Bartenders Association (IBA), and is sponsored by the Cuban rum Havana Club.
She is registered as a legal representative of the Cuban canteen school before the Ministry of Justice and the School of Hotel Management and Tourism.

Today, June 4, the heritage city Sancti Spíritus celebrates the 510th anniversary of the founding of the Villa del Espíritu Santo (Sancti Spíritus for Cuba and the world).
It was founded by Adelantado Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar in 1514 and moved in 1522 to its current site. It is the fourth of the first seven towns settled in by the Spanish conquistadors.

Antonio Lorenzo Pupo is the mechanic of La Mambisita, an 1882 steam locomotive from the North American manufacturer Baldwin Locomotive Works.
La Mambisita is walking history, the oldest that the Cuban railway has, 142 years of operation.

Paredón Grande Lighthouse built in the mid-19th century (1856-1859), is located in Cayo Paredon Grande, , Latitude 22.48215 / -78.16605.
Cast iron building, 48 meters high, 156 steps and nine thousand 956 screws. Guides navigation in the Old Bahamas Channel. The flashlight emits flashes of white light in the form of lightning for 15 seconds, with a lighting range of 36 nautical miles.

Caimán Grande Lighthouse of Santa María in the province of Villa Clara in .
Built in 1874, with a height of 30 meters and an electric lantern installed in 1936, with a range of 20.5 nautical miles.
This lighthouse helps sailors on the central north coast of Cuba and stands on one of the stone keys that make up the Los Caimanes National Park.
