Curaçao is delighted to welcome Wingo’s inaugural flight from Medellín, Colombia. The introduction of this new route reaffirms the airline’s commitment to Curaçao by bringing more tourists from Colombia to experience the diverse tourism offerings available in Curaçao. This new route complements Wingo’s existing flight schedule to Curaçao, which already includes flights from Bogotá. The flights from Medellín are scheduled to operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Recently, Azul Airlines from Brazil expanded its flight schedule to Curaçao by launching a new route from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a frequency of four flights per week. This new route aligns with Curaçao’s strategic goals to increase travel connections from the United States. At the same time, the airline has also doubled its weekly flights between Belo Horizonte and Curacao, now offering four flights per week from Brazil. The new connection from Fort Lauderdale presents Curaçao with an opportunity to welcome more tourists while also providing additional travel options for the local community. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘂, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰̧𝗮𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 On November 7th, the premiere of the new international film Dating My Past, starring Chanelle de Lau, in the lead role, will take place here in Curaçao. Chanelle holds several beauty titles, including 4th Runner-Up at Miss Supranational 2024, First Runner-Up at Miss International 2017, and Miss Universe Curaçao 2016. The fact that Chanelle, as a Curaçao native, stars in an international film is certainly a significant milestone for both Curaçao and her career as a professional artist. In Dating My Past, Chanelle plays the role of Lexie, a relationship therapist reflecting on her own past romantic relationships, each with unique challenges and life lessons. As Lexie navigates her personal journey, she uncovers the true meaning of self-worth, leading her to redefine her understanding of love. The film is directed by Ricky Burchell and inspired by Aaron Jordan Jr.’s book The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes. This is the Corporate Page of the Curaçao Tourist Board. On this page we share news and local events to the local tourism partners and the general public. Other activities can be found on our main page: facebook.com/curacaotb The Curaçao Association for the Promotion of Foreign Visits was formed in 1915 and its responsibilities were taken over by the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1934. In 1945, Curaçao appointed a representative in New York reporting to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry until 1948, when the Government took over tourism promotion from the Chamber of Commerce and created the Curaçao Tourism Commission (CTC). In 1955, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) replaced the CTC and opened an office in Caracas in 1982. In 1984, the CTB opened an office in Rotterdam.

In 1989, the Curaçao Tourism Development Foundation (CTDF) was formed. In 2003, the CTDF start doing business as the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB). The Supervisory Board comprised of seven persons supervises the foundation. The organization is managed by a Director and a Deputy Director.
