At Captain Lodge you will find a very comfortable, clean, quiet, centrally located, and cozy accommodation to enjoy your vacations or business stay in the island. The apartment includes air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV with cable, Wi-Fi, a whole equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, pots, pans, silverware, dishes... and everything you need to cook your own mea
ls if you want. Or if you prefer, we also have a daily menu available for you if you prefer to relax and order your meal next door! We run a small take out / delivery meals service, so if you need anything, we will always be there to help you! For a small extra charge, we can also provide you with a welcome pack so your refrigerator is not empty upon your arrival, and you can start to enjoy your stay from minute 1! Regarding the location, Captain Lodge is in a very safe neighborhood with 24 security service. It's within walking distance to bus stops, restaurants, shopping malls and art galleries. Or either, if you decide to rent a car (strongly recommended), you can get to Jan Thiel Beach or Mambo Beach in 12 minutes. We are quite flexible with the rules, so as long as you don't put loud tv or music after 11 pm or before 7 am and don't bring guests, we will all have a pleasant time. If you need to check in or leave at unusual hours, or need advise, we can also help with that. EXTRA FEES:
- Taxes: Please expect to pay an extra 7% of your total invoice. This is a mandatory room tax in Curaçao.
- One-time cleaning fee of US$25. This includes weekly cleaning service and fresh linens + towels changed every week. For stays longer than 1 month, there will be extra cleaning fees added.
- Water / Electricity: These utilities are extremely expensive in the island. For this purpose, you have a prepaid electricity system installed in your apartment, so you can buy the energy you need, and a dedicated water meter, so you will pay exactly what you have used.
