Why holiday in Cyprus? Well who knows perhaps you'll meet Aphrodite. Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love and Beauty and according to Hesiod's Theogony, she was born from the foam in the waters of Paphos, on the island of Cyprus. Pop down to Aphrodite's Rock and swim round it three times. Legend has it that you will then have eternal beauty. The last night of our holiday last week at Anemona View we had dinner in a beautiful setting overlooking the beach watching the sun set.. The restaurant was Vardas which you will find down a short road beside the Atlantica Golden Beach hotel at Kissonerga. We thought that it was just a basic beach cafe but how wrong can you be. The food was fantastic.

Holiday plus work at Anemona View last week. Now installed ceiling fans in the lounge and both bedrooms for those that are not keen on the aircon. Always trying to improve things for our guests.
