Our beautiful house is enviably situated only 10 minutes' drive from Larnaca International Airport on the peaceful outskirts of the town of Kiti, famous for its Byzantine Church. Larnaca is a bustling town with a famous promenade overlooking Finikoudes Beach and Mackenzy Beach has some wonderful, chilled beach bars and resturants. The closest sandy beach, which really opens after Easter, is Faros (Pharos) is only 3km from the apartment. The world famous beaches around Ayia Napa can be reached in under an hour, including Nissi and Konos (our two favourite). Nicosia - the world's only split capital - is also less than an hour and an intriguiing place blending the modern and ancient. Cyprus has a great road network making anywhere on the island accessible for a a day trip but you can also simply choose to chill by the pools and dine out in the local restaurants which range from international fast foods, sushi and more traditional taverna serving excellent souvlaki and meze.
