Logistico Park, a subsidiary of the RPT Tsanos Group, is a state-of-the-art, multipurpose facility located in the Free Zone of Aradippou, Cyprus.⁣
⁣
Comprised of two separate gated and fully-secured facilities, the main area (Warehouse B) features 3500 square metres of closed warehouse and workshop area, complete with overhead cranage, amenities and changing rooms, a licensed and certified washbay facility, as well as a certified conference-training room.⁣
⁣
Warehouse A represents the only licensed -dry and liquid- chemical storage facility in Cyprus up to 1500 sqm, including an excise bonded license, meeting all industry standard fire protection and mitigation protocols.⁣

Clients utilising Logistico Park can also make use of substantial open storage areas, with full equipment logistics support available for any types of cargo.⁣

It’s been a busy few weeks for our Ops Teams!⁣

In support of two offshore campaigns due to commence later this year, Lavar Shipping coordinated the multimodal, end-to-end logistics for a 43-ton Umbilical Reel, from Hoddesdon via Peterhead until laydown in our customs-bonded Open Yard Terminal outside Limassol Port.⁣
⁣
The same facility will also play host to equipment and materials -including 8’’ line pipe- due for further fabrication and subsea installation in the months ahead.⁣

The summer season may finally be over, but we are still revelling in the beauty of RUNNING ON WAVES, who set out on her last voyage for the season last month in the hours of darkness.

A three-mast sailing vessel, with a length overall of 64 metres and maximum capacity of 45 guests, RUNNING ON WAVES is -in her own words- “most likely the world's smallest ocean cruise ship and at the same time is one of the biggest sailing yachts in the world”!

Working seamlessly together, and offered full support to our good client SA conducting geotechnical surveys in the Vasilikos sea area within the framework of the East Med Pipeline project. From the seaborne receipt and mobilisation of the jack-up, to securing permits for and performing nearshore towage & positioning at designed survey locations, right up to final disassembly of the barge and dispatch of its components, we were there every step of the way ensuring the safe and timely completion of operations.
