Kalomira is utterly charming. Aris has renovated an old Nicosia house with care and attention to detail, leaving the character and charm of the old building while updating the kitchen/bathrooms/adding air con etc Aris has decorated the rooms with family furniture and artefacts, creating a special atmosphere. There is even a working record player and a collection of records! Though at the heart of Nicosia, the house looks out over the ancient city walls and a football pitch and park with tall trees, creating a feeling of space within the city. Sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening was delightful, the light is beautiful. Aris is a communicative and relaxed host who filled the fridge with delights and welcomed us warmly. We had a ball, thank you Aris!

A true gem! Really special. Perfect location to explore Nikosia. We felt really comfortable and at home. Aris is very kind - warm welcome, easy communication, flexible check-in and check-out. Highly recommend.

A lovely house, very well equipped and full of interest. Very comfortable and with an exceptionally comprehensive range of starter pack "extras". Aris responded very quickly to inquiries beforehand and was a very helpful and generous host while we were there. The property is in a great location for exploring Nicosia on foot. The house is on a one way street with no parking on the premises but parking is in the public car park 40 metres away across the road on the Constanza Bastion which is used for a great fruit and veg market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We (a couple) arrived and left on market days with the market in full swing and were able to get parked and get out. At other times the car park was little used. We were a bit dubious about parking costs but Aris assured us that parking charges were 2 euro a day if applied and during our stay (early November) the parking charges were not in use so we did not have to pay at all for parking.

What a beautiful house! We lived around the corner for two years and needed a place to stay while we were moving out of our house. It's a spacious and beautifully furnished house, it has everything you need, it's located right on the walls of Nicosia Old Town, super clean, nicely appointed and a great host! Thank you for taking such good care of us and giving us a tranquile spot to relax in the craziness of our move! And - last not least, your record collection is the best!

Beautifully refurbished house on an excellent location, right at the heart of Nicosia, next to the old town. The old town is full of nice restaurants and places and very characteristic. The house is extremely clean, spacious and full of interesting details and an amazing pottery collection. It has all the comfort you might need with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry etc. It really feels like ‘home’. And than the owners, they are the best hosts I have ever met. They were so welcoming, supportive and helpful. I can highly recommend this place. It is a beautiful house and a unique experience.

"This is a truly unique and wonderful home to stay in and Aris is a really great host. It was very comfortable and clean and Aris provided basic breakfast requirements which was very helpful. The house is so different to anything I’ve ever stayed in and is in an excellent location on the edge of the old city."

AIRBNB REVIEW FROM AMERICAN COUPLE WHO STAYED AT KALOMIRA FIRST WEEK OF JULY 2021
Definitely Superhosts! My husband and I stayed 8 days in this uniques home. Everything you need is there. The house itself is charming and reflects the warmth of its owners. It's in a perfect spot for exploring the old city. The antiquities in the house are expertly displayed in walled cases and discreetly placed throughout the house with creative care. The house instills the history of Cyprus within its walls. Aris was out of town when we arrived so we were greeted by his wife, Lena. She explained everything we needed to know about the house and was always available if we needed something or had questions. She was a wealth of knowledge about places to go and things to do in Cyprus. She recommended a resort for us in Pathos that was beautiful and a perfect get away from the city. I have nothing but high praise for both Aris and Lena. They were wonderful to deal with and we thank them again!

It's a marvelous historic house right on Lefkosia's old bastion. Every evening, we enjoyed the sunset on the balcony. Aris is a superb host, friendly and caring, and he gave us a lot of good recommendations and clues. Thanks a lot, Aris!

These days my close friend Nicky, who is visiting from Boston, has been staying at KALOMIRA-ON-THE-WALLS. Thanks to him the house has now been lived-in for over a month. This is the first time that someone has stayed continuously for any length of time since KALOMIRA was prepared for short-term rentals. I am glad that any teething problems have been ironed out and I am now a lot happier as to the quality I am providing at KALOMIRA....
