Guests often ask us for a great place to stop off and eat on there way back to the airport.
Another one of our favourite places is Gustoso, a lovely restaurant on the Tomb of the kings road Paphos.
It makes a great airport stop or a night out in town. Excellent food and service.
Open all day so works well for a late lunch or early tea.

If you would like to be part of a traditional Cypriot evening of good food and entertainment , every Thursday the village off kouklia closes its roads and the whole village square comes together to hold a Cyprus night.
You would need to book a table in advance at Gabriels Tavern. For a great maze then sit back and enjoy the entertainment.
Great food and value at 20 euro. Say hi to Gabriel Michael the owner from us and you’ll be dancing all night..🥂🥳🇨🇾🇨🇾
Kouklia village is near the airport about a 20 / 25 minute drive but we’ll worth the trip.

For guests who like exploring why not have a day in Limasol.
The city has grown and developed over the years.
It has a big new Limassol Marina. You'll find all kind of beautiful boats, coffee shops and restaurants.
Take a walk around the Marina and it's only a short stroll into the old town or a walk along the promenade.
The old town has some interesting streets, & good restaurants,old Cabo Mill and castle.
All makes for an interesting day out that is about 50 minutes drive.
Parking is best in the Marina multi story car park.

Have a wonder through the beautiful old streets and the monastery before moving on to oenou yi winery

Continue up the road to our next vineyard Vlassides Winery - Οινοποιείο Βλασίδη
Both produce great wines and will provide snacks and tasting.
Continue your journey either up to Platres or back via the lovely village of Lofou .
A journey that will show you the true traditions & villages of Cyprus.
This would make a great day out and you could combine it with a meal at Gabriels Tavern in Kouklia village on your return to Tala .

There are several vineyards and winery’s you can visit locally.
In the village of kathikas there are 2 and well worth the trip. The drive up is great , fab views over the coast if you take the route via coral bay / peyia.
Sterna and also Vasilikon Winery both do excellent tastings .
Makes a great morning out or combine it with a drive over the hills to Latchi marina.

Latchi is a lovely scenic , 30 min drive through the valley from the villa.
If you like boat tours this is where we would go rather that Paphos harbour.
The Marina in Latchi with worth a stroll around. We have hired our own boat before but for group tours these guys are good & excellent value.
You can take the morning tour to the blue lagoon or an evening sunset cruise.
A fab day out for all the family.😃🥂
