The Zenobia wreck lies in 42 metres of water on the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea about ½ a mile out of Larnaca harbour. It takes about 15 minutes, by boat, to reach.

Lying on her port side with her starboard side just 18 metres down, Zenobia is in tact apart from some internal structural damage. There are 2 lorry deck with another lower deck, accommodation area and a restaurant area.

More than 100 lorries were on board when the Zenobia went down to its final resting place, and many of them can still be seen. A couple of them are still attached to the main deck by steadily rusting chains, whilst some have broken free and fallen to the seabed. Some of their cargo has spilled and includes industrial machinery, air conditioners, timber, Tonka toys, paint and eggs, which still can be seen. To witness these incredible scenes take a peak to the stern of the Zenobia wreck around the ocean floor.

There is plenty of marine life to be seen during the dives including Groupers, Amberjacks, Barracudas, and much more.

The Wreck Nemesis III is a fishing trawler sunked as an artificial wreck. The wreck is 30M long and 12M wide. Bottom is 25 m. You can see lion fishes, tunas, amber jacks and occasional turtles.

Are you ready to wreck exploration? If yes, then check if you have a proper wreck training.

Here is some information to read and think about it.

Never scuba dive beyond your training limits!

Check yourself before you wreck yourself: Never dive wrecks without proper training or without making proper considerations and always do a final check before hitting the water.

Wrecks allow you to peer into the past and discover mysterious new places, but wreck diving is not a trivial pursuit. Proper training, equipment and dive planning are necessary for safe wreck diving. Wrecks often lie in really deep water, so diving gas mixes other than air may be ideal for diving in these environments. If you’re diving any gas mix with a partial pressure of oxygen greater than 0.21, it is imperative that you constantly monitor your depth as oxygen toxicity underwater is one of the greatest hazards associated with breathing enriched air at depth. To avoid any dangerous surprises, check your gas mix with an air analyzer immediately before you dive. If you’re diving with multiple cylinders, double check each one before you hop in the water and descend.
