🎉 We have great news for tram lovers! In October there was a ceremony called "tapping of the foundation stone" in the Campus Bohunice 🔨. This means the new tram line from station Osová to a completely new tram station called Nemocnice Bohunice is being built as we speak! 😲💪

🚋 This new tram connection will allow you to reach Campus Bohunice in 15 minutes from the main train station by tram!!

❓Do you also sometimes (or daily) travel to Bohunice Campus? Let us know in the comments if this new track will affect you. 😉

🤩 Have you ever heard about the Punkva Caves?! If not, pay attention, because it's a must-visit place for everyone, especially if you’re in Brno! 😉

☝ You shouldn’t miss the guided tour through this beautiful subterranean area of the Moravian Karst, where you’ll get to travel along an underground river! 🌊

💥 The Moravian Karst is the biggest and most significant karst region in the Czech Republic. 😲 Apart from the cathedrals of stalagmites and stalactites in Punkva Caves, you can also visit the bottom of Macocha Abyss! 👌

Náš nejnovější člen a marketingový guru Be Brno.

⛰ Filip původně pochází z Beskyd a do Brna ho zavál vítr za prací v Kiwi.com v roce 2017. Po čase přešel na volnou nohu jako online marketér a spoluzaložil skupinu Trash Hero Brno, se kterou uklízí naše milované Brnečko.

☕ Občas Filipovi říkáme kavárenský povaleč, protože se neustále fláká po brněnských kavárnách (prý tam chodí pracovat), nejčastěji jej můžete potkat v jeho oblíbeném podniku SKØG Urban Hub. A když se zrovna nevěnuje marketingu, toulá se někde v přírodě, na cestách (momentálně v Makedonii), nebo uklízí s Trash Hero. V Brně jej nejvíce zaujala jedinečná pestrost komunit a pivo Lucky Bastard. 😀🍻

In front of Janáčkovo Theatre, there is an amazing fountain worth seeing...if you haven’t already 😉.

This is a creative fountain that features a water stream of colors, words, and shapes—there’s almost nothing this fountain can’t do. Every day from 7pm-2am, check it out!! 🎉

Did you know the fountain also displays weather forecasts and a calendar including sunrise/sunset and moon position? 😮 We definitely recommend this magical place for chilling with your friends and enjoying a good drink.

Traditional Coffee Fair (Trhy kávy 2019) is approaching fast!

👉At the beginning of October, Freedom Square is hosting a fun event with great coffee from more than 20 roasters. Along with coffee markets, the Festival of Good Food (Slavnosti dobrého jídla) will also take place at Freedom Square, so there surely won't be a lack of gastro experiences. We’re looking forward to it!

Did you know there is almost one kilometer of underground passageways in the city center under the Zelný Trh Square (Cabbage Market)?! 😃

You can see unique and mysterious corners of the medieval corridors, and cellars that are hidden six to eight meters below the Cabbage Market. This is a must-see attraction of Brno! 👌

We are happy to announce our first collaboration with the gifted Photographer Jiří Lubojacký owner of JL Photo - Catching Reflections of the Soul

Jiri has been capturing unique moments of life in Brno streets for over 3 years.

Originally from Ostrava, he moved to Brno a few years ago. He has been involved in numerous projects in Brno, in present time cooperating with the Brno Expat Centre, and the Swing Wings Brno dance school.

Jiri also works on projects of event phtography, Documenting international events in Brno as well as abroad (Sofia Swing Dance Festival, Big City Blues, Gentse Feesten).
His work was showcased in Berlin, Barcelona and the latest showcase will be in Melbourne.

Meet Trash Hero Brno !

This city clean up initiative, was ofically launched in March 2018, by Filip Řezníček Eva Kašpárková and Vítek Novotný.

Over the course of the last year and half, the team have sucessfully organized 19 city clean-ups and have removed 17 tons of trash from public spaces!

The Orginization also encourages individuals to reduce their personal plastic usage amongst other things.

The Trash Hero orginization is spread out in 150 cities world wide. In the Czech Republic, there are 15 Trash Hero locations, where clean up projects are taking place.

The city of Brno has been supporting the initiative while supplying all the gear needed to conduct the cleanups.

If you are looking to make a positive impact on your surroundings, while meeting nice and freindly people, we highly recommend you join their clean up mission today!
