today, Czech Statehood Day 🇨🇿

Dnešní svátek - Den české státnosti 🇨🇿 je velmi přiléhavě spojen s osobou sv. Václava, hlavního zemského patrona. Úcta, kterou národ věčnému dědici české země projevuje víc než tisíc let, našla mnohokrát svůj výraz také v umění. Ve veřejném prostoru je nejčastěji přítomen v podobě plastik a soch.

Jednoznačně ikonickou se stala podoba sv. Václava, již mu na pomníku v čele Václavského náměstí vtiskl Josef Václav Myslbek. Oproti krotké a rozpačité barokní soše sv. Václava od Jana Jiřího Bendla, která uprostřed Václavského náměstí stála od 17. století až do roku 1879, působí Myslbekův kníže v drátěné košili a přilbici hrdě a bojovně ⚔️ a Čechům už více než sto let dodává odvahu a sílu. 💪

Celebrate! 🥃 We just finished a special State Farm 10 days long event with more than 300px, and "One Tour To Rule Them All" (aka The Castle Side) finally hit 4.98 average on Airbnb which was a very long and constant effort.

ABOUT THIS TOUR EXPERIENCE:

Let’s say you only have a short time to spend in Prague and want to get the most out of your visit. See both important touristy locations, but also the less crowded, more hidden, special parts of the historical area. ❤️

Our goal was to come up with the top 3 hours experience in the streets of the most beauty-packed part of Prague, districts called THE LESSER TOWN & HRADCANY - just across the bridge from often crazy busy Old Town. We find this side calmer and even more special, since it dates back to the city foundation and now happens to be the main governmental and embassy area surrounding Prague Castle.

You’ll see charming places not even most locals are aware of - no crowds, no visual noise either.

We dislike the cold, boring, monotonous “umbrella & monologue” type tours with no personal approach. Therefore, we decided to do city tours our way - we stay in smaller to medium size groups and have fun, ask you how’s your trip so far, tell you about local history, life in Prague, what’s great to visit more in depth + other valuable recommendations for the rest of your stay here. Just anything you want to know, so you can have the best possible time here.

We include free local beers/ drinks (2x) and food tasting (medium size meal) as part of the experience.

We do this all year and yes - enjoy no matter what season ☀️❄️

ONDRA: I finished my Master degree in Prague, used to sell educational products in Colorado, walked doggies in Brooklyn and

JAKUB: I always loved people, history, parties and often organized events for friends. I changed university subject for Hospitality, travelled around the world and now I’m happily back to show people the best city of all (not kidding).
