In 1945, Prague experienced the end of N**i occupation and the liberation by Soviet and Czech forces during World War II. The house that stood there before was destroyed during the American air bombing of Prague on the 14th February of 1945. The post-war reconstruction of Prague aimed to restore its historical charm while integrating modern architectural elements, reflecting the city's resilience and cultural continuity amidst the aftermath of war.
