Hi! I lead to only a few times a year based on special requests. However I go and visit this place fairly regularly on my own as it provides nice and local views over the city of from the top of ... Furthermore you can see here from the in in a form of statue decorations of massive metal doors which depict historical motives that were used and re-interpreted for purposes ... If you would like to experience something different and learn more about how locals understand their recent 20th century history, don't hesitate to ask for this kind of a tour. I would be happy to take you here and to the neigborhood with the famous situated there....

Hi! A few weeks ago I took those pictures during my solitary walk through the city center of ... There was still a little remaining snow on the ground from the beginning of January... After the winter holidays, the city becomes fairly empty without masses of foreign visitors. This is the time for an administration work related to my profession of a tour guide to be done. I however miss my daily walks and especially during the around 4pm, I can't resist and walk around the city to enjoy its beauty. Being a tour guide is not only a profession, it's a way of living I think. I absorb the beauty to share it with you when you come. It requests to remain in love with the city and feed that regularly... 😉😊

Hi! During the tourist I keep fit by hills that are within 1 hour drive from Prague. This area is called and it is located north from the capital city. The hill that I visited recently is not so steep as neighborhood hills but it is unique because it is known as a ... During cold winter months you can find openings in the ground on the top of the hill through which comes warmer air and steam. There is greener gras near the openings than anywhere else in this region, too. I am going to update my website with new destinations soon. Stay tunned! M.

Hi! A few days ago we welcomed the first snow of this winter season in and I visited in the late afternoon (5pm) the in district to enjoy this spectacular outdoor exhibition of by ... It was a trully to be in this snowy wonderland! The kingdom of glass comes to life in the glow of lights and the sound of the glass harp. This world of fantasy is open every day from 5- 9pm untill 2ndFebruary. If you happen to be in Prague, don't miss it! M.

Hi! The of is going to be commemorated tomorrow on the 6thJanuary. Only during Xmas holidays you have a chance to see an original that was created during 18th century for the of in located near the Loreta shrine.... As a visitor, you can actually walk through the nativity scene and the wooden statues are in a life size... The little church looks quite ordinary from outside, but it hides a treasure inside. Don't hesitate to come in! After the Three Kings celebrations the nativity scene will not be accessible untill next year's Xmas holiday again.

BTW, it started to snow in Prague today for the first time of this winter. Will bring more pictures later! 🙂 Have a nice Sunday! M.

Hi! Today's 6 hours long The Best of Prague Tour started at the Strahov monastery covered by a thick fog and ended in the afternoon sun with a cup of a coffee with a quote on a plate: "For those who believe in their dreams". The end of the year is a busy tourist season for me, I lead tours every day, so I can relax during the upcoming off-season in January, February and March. I hope you are enjoying the holiday time! Especially in winter when it is getting dark around 4pm already, the of the looks , and it offers a soothing time for a which I feel is needed during busy days before holiday ... Hi! A guided tour around the former in takes usually 3 hours and you will visit a few ancient synagogues where historic exhibitions are held and the . It is however possible to make the tour longer and discover a few offthebeaten path sights and places of interest as e.i.the which is a piece of by and/or the new jewish cemetery where you can find 's grave. I recommend to discover the synagogue, too, which is located on the edges of the and it was built in a pretty, exotic-looking style on the turn of the 20thcentury. Hi! I recommend to foreign visitors who are staying in for a few days to visit the old-fashioned styled built in the 20's of the 20th century. Its are just gorgeous and you can see foreign (European and American) movies in original language (with Czech subtitles) there. The cinema is hidden inside a block of houses and it is famous because of the statue of a hanging horse by ... I visited it again for the held at the end of November. The cafe is a nice , too, I visit it during the that I lead regularly. M.

Hi! On 5th December you can meet in the Czech Republic a trio of a , and an on streets all around the country. It is a popular festival when this trio visits families with children at home and either give children small presents (usually sweets) after they say a poem / sing a song and/or play on a musical intrument to these unusual "visitors". If it is recognized that they haven't behave well during the passed year, they could be taken to hell unless they promise to get better again. This duality of "good" and "bad" has it's roots in Roman- catholic religion but in our country it is kept as rather a secular ... Children (and adults, too) also like to dress themselves just for fun and believe it or not, the most popular costume is the one of a devil 😉🙃🙂 I speak about Czech traditions especially during popular around the city of which include also tastings of local food and ... Hi! Here are a few pictures from yesterday's rainy morning from the Old Town square Xmas markets. You can see that around 9am there are only a few people there. Pay attention especially to the last two pictures, which were taken during the Covid pandemic in winter 2021. There were no markets at all and also no people. These days the city of is busy with foreign visitors again. The festive seasonal holiday mood is visible on every corner of the city. Hi! I have been leading and for about 8 years now and this concept of combining and experiencing a foreign culture and customs while tasting local and drinks is really great. During the Food tours I help visitors to order and taste various they would not probably try on their own, I take them both to local places as well as the traditional and/or the trendy ones.
