Football fans rise up!

The Wieiner Riesenrad dates back to 1897, when it was built to commemorate Franz Joseph's Golden Jubilee. It was almost torn down in 1916 due to lack of funds, but was saved. Sport in Central Europe ⚽️🏒
The Central European region is also known for its sports, the two main sports are usually soccer and field hockey.
In soccer, among the greatest teams are Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, Sparta Praha, Slavia Praha, all these clubs play in European competitions. Central Europe has the best teams in the world. Soccer plays a major role in the relationship between countries and the various rivalries that can arise.
On the other hand, field hockey attracts more and more spectators. The best clubs are in the Czech Republic with clubs like Sparta Praha or Mountfield HK but also EHC Munich in Germany.
Other sports are also important in Central Europe: basketball, handball, etc…
