⭐️’s that Defined Our 2024 as a family.
As the curtain falls on this remarkable year, we take a moment to reflect on the milestones, adventures, and memories that defined our 2024. Here’s what made this year unforgettable for us:
⭐️ My incredible wife Amruta passed her gynecology and obstetrics post-graduation exam
⭐️ Our darling daughter Asmi turned 5 this year (our little Vorschulkind) and made us proud by running various races.
⭐️ Our little champ Aditya turned 2, celebrating his birthday in India surrounded by our entire family.
⭐️ I completed two years as a Facharzt in the field of Internal-Surgery (Viszeralchirurgie) in South Germany and embarked on a new chapter by starting my second post-graduation in General Medicine (Allgemeinmedizin).
⭐️ I successfully ran and completed not just one but two marathons this year—the Berlin Marathon 2024 and the Frankfurt Marathon 2024 along with many other local races.
⭐️ We traveled to India, Italy, Austria and for the first time ever to San Marino. We could also see more of Northern Germany with our family and friends.
Together, we celebrated life, love, and every little achievement that made this year extraordinary. We were happy to host our aunt, uncle and cousins with brother in law in summer.

Here’s to 2025—a new year filled with possibilities, dreams, and adventures waiting to unfold. Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉

Reflecting on the year 2023, a truly spectacular year for my family and me, surpassing all previous progress and exceeding expectations. Gratitude to each person, especially Amruta, our families, and Aditya, whose support was instrumental in achieving these goals.
Here are 10 defining moments of my 2023:
1. Celebrated Asmi turning 4 on April 29th and Aditya’s 1st birthday on February 22nd, surrounded by close friends and family.
2. Amruta, my dearest wife, rejoined the Gynac Department after her one-year Parental Leave.
3. Completed my third World Major Marathon in London 🇬🇧 on April 23rd.
4. Conquered the fourth World Major Marathon in New York City 🇺🇸 on November 5th.
5. Successfully tackled the Berlin Marathon for the second time on September 24th, marking my fifth World Major Marathon.
6. Explored Pune and Solapur in India 🇮🇳 in January, London, UK 🇬🇧 in April for the London Marathon, visited the USA 🇺🇸 in November for the New York City Marathon, and explored Washington D.C., New Jersey City, and Boston, along with various places in New York City. Also visited Berlin 🇩🇪 in September for the Berlin Marathon.
7. Blessed to visit Nicosia, Paphos, Larnaca, and Limassol in Cyprus 🇨🇾 and witness the beauty of Valetta, Gozo, and Mdina in Malta 🇲🇹. In the summer, explored Lake Como and Lake Garda in Italy 🇮🇹, and Lake Lugano in Switzerland 🇨🇭. Cyprus 🇨🇾 and Malta 🇲🇹 were new additions to our list of visited places.
8. Maintained the tradition of running at least one or more virtual Half Marathon in or around Aalen, Germany, every month.
9. Cherished moments staying with my closest friend Shreekar and Sneha in Berlin, and at my favorite Aunt Sumita’s place for my cousin’s wedding in Pune.
10. Hosted Aditya, my best friend, at our home in Aalen, embarking on adventures to new places, including Italy 🇮🇹, Switzerland 🇨🇭, USA 🇺🇸, and Cyprus 🇨🇾.

Grateful to God for the strength and courage to achieve these goals. Hoping to inspire others with my efforts and aiming for even higher goals in 2024. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Better late than never…

2022 has been by far one of the most brilliant years for me and my family. I am thankful to each and everyone especially Amruta’s and my family, who helped me achieve these goals in this past year.
Here are 10 Things that defined my 2023
1. Became a proud father for the second time on 26th February and this time to a baby boy “Aditya“.
2. Asmi, my daughter became 3 years old on 29th April and welcomed Aditya in our family with open arms along with my wife Amruta and me.
3. Completed my major career goal and became a Facharzt für Viszeralchirurgie (Superspeciality in Visceral-, Onco- and General Surgery) after passing the Facharzt Exam on 20th December
4. Completed my first World Major Marathon in Berlin on 25th September
5. Completed my second World Major Marathon in Chicago on 09th October
6. Visited USA and Canada in October for Chicago and Toronto Marathon. Visited Berlin in September for Berlin Marathon.
7. Ran atleast one or more than one virtual Half Marathon in or around Aalen, Germany every month last year.
8. Flew to India, my motherland 4 times and visited my family and friends.
9. Was hosted by my best friend Aditya in Toronto. We visited some of the most beautiful places in Canada and USA. Was hosted by my closest friend Shreekar and Sneha in Berlin, we had huge fun together.
10. Hosted some of the closest people in our lives at our home in Aalen. Aditya, Shreekar, Sneha, Sana, Ajinkya, Anuja and last but not the least my Mom. We saw some spectacular places together in Germany.

This one is my personal favorite from the Toronto Trip we recently undertook. It’s the CN Tower, the tallest observation deck in the western hemisphere and once the tallest building between 1976 and 1994, it was commissioned by the Canadian Railways to show the might of its wealth to the rest of the world. It is a must visit to have a bird’s eye view of Toronto and be in awe of the Canadian Architecture.
