For over 20 years I have been practising archaeology, whether it is field work or lecturing or guiding tours. through all these years and various positions, I was always a firm believer that , and knowledge in general should be available to the public.
What is the point of excavating an archaeological site if the public cannot read about the finds or visit them?
Therefore, I have sat with myself and rethought my whole tours pricing scheme and have reached the conclusion that my tours were too pricey, and as such, were not available to all who might have wanted to take part in them.
So, I have reduced the prices of all my tours drastically, in an effort to make them more accessible to whoever wants to experience the amazing past of humankind. 🏺 🏛 🏳️⚧️
