As every year, we are delighted to be back at Adventure Southside. Thanks to the organizing team, we are able to present trips to Iran at the largest off-road trade fair in southern Germany.

We can hardly look forward to meeting our strong partners like Adventure Offroad (with whom we share the stand) and many other old guests and potential fellow travelers.

- In the world with refugees!

We are not politically active. However, we provide information about all facets of Iran - and this is one of them.

According to Statista, Iran was in second place after Turkey with 3.5 million refugees in 2023 worldwide.

Education, health, work and integration are viewed differently compared to Europe. Most refugees come, of course, from Afghanistan.

Wars in which Western countries were involved are causing refugee flows towards developing countries.

The extent and seriousness for the future is not foreseeable.
The fact is that these guys are making the best of it.
That's what they told us!🙂

Especially in the desert, this question arises quite naturally. It comes to you whether you want it to or not. W questions are also asked automatically by your body and it tries to answer them.

In the city, or in the European habitat, we are often not exposed to these questions. It is therefore important to come to places that generate questions. Because we have by no means answered everything!

BURNED OUT 🌋🔥

This region in the north-west of the Dasht-e Lut again shows us the geological specialties of Iran.

Not far away, volcanoes erupted millions of years ago and spewed out this vulcanic tuff.

The extent of the volcanic eruptions is not really tangible for us. Because the area covered by this tuff is gigantic!

What's more, this is actually the hottest point on earth!

What an energy.

Eternal flame - آتش

In Persia, fire is seen as a purifying force and is identified with truth (Asha: law, order).

The four basic elements of life, fire, water, air, and earth, were symbols of fertility. They were important to Zoroaster and his followers. But fire has the most importance for them.

Zoroastrianism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions. Its founder, the ancient Persian priest Zoroaster, is considered to be the very first founder of a religion in human history. A mystical existence that emerges from the mists of history and has its origins in what is now central Iran.

Neor Lake 💧🌳

This beautiful lake was formed during the Eocene geological time scale and is located at an altitude of 2,500 metres north of Ardebil in the Alborz Mountains and not far from the Hyrcanian Forest.

A sample to determine the age of the stratification and the type of species diversity revealed that the pollen spectra go back 6,500 years to a sequence of pollen and beetle remains.

No Desert - No Life | Never forget that 💬

Full of authenticity, strength and clarity, the desert and its function remind us again and again of the value it actually brings us.

We too often forget that the cradle of life lies in these tiny grains of sand - stones, full of minerals in countless quantities, are transported by the wind to where, together with water, they give rise to biological reactions and provide us with life.

On days like these, when Europe is covered in Saharan sand, we can only rejoice. That nature is doing its job. Nothing but fear can stand in the way of this process.

We invite you to join us in learning to appreciate the desert more by travelling to places we don't normally go.
