The over 900-year-old castle is the landmark of the village of Blankenheim. In the historic town centre, you can marvel at half-timbered houses 🏚️ from different centuries as well as the source of the Ahr. 💧

In the youth hostel 🏡you can experience the true romance of a castle without having to compromise on modern comforts. Families 👪 are welcome to use one of the five modern holiday flats in the Bastion House. Music groups 🎵 will find ideal rehearsal conditions in the medieval castle, especially in the historic Knights' Hall.

The hostel 🏡 is located between three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Bauhaus, the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve 🦫 and the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz 🌸 and therefore offers countless excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

And there is much more to discover! If you'd rather treat yourself to a bit of peace and quiet, you can also relax with a nice cup of coffee from the in-house cafeteria on the sun terrace while the children let off steam in the large playground. 🤸🏼‍♂️

But a family holiday is only really great when everyone can be there. 🐾 🐶 That's why you can also bring your dog here by prior arrangement!

Never heard of this place❓ Yes, it's a little smaller, but all the more unique for that. ☝🏼 As part of the Grimmheimat Nordhessen region, this climatic health resort has a lot to tell. 🗣️

The location of the youth hostel 🏡 right next to the old castle park, surrounded by the old town wall with a swing forest and adventure playground, speaks for itself.

In summer 🌼 you can paddle on the Fulda and cycle along it. Or you can go into the forest and have fun on the 2.2 km long forest ball track. 👏🏼

The youth hostel itself is particularly unique with themed weekends for families: for kids who want to learn magic tricks 🧙‍♀️ and emulate Hermione and Harry and for Halloween 🎃 and Christmas fans.

The modern youth hostel 🏡 is in a fantastic location on the edge of the Eifel National Park. 🌳 The highlight of the hostel is the viewing terrace on the roof with a unique view 🌄 of the surrounding nature.

The red sandstone cliffs with 150 climbing routes are just a few steps away. 🧗‍♂️ Families 👪 climb high together on our weekend programs. The modern hostel 🏡 is located directly on the Rhine floodplains. Neuss offers numerous leisure activities for families 👨‍👩‍👦 and many are even free. For example, the family farm 🚜 where you can experience goats, sheep, horses and pigs up close. From April 28, the "Feld-Haus" museum will be presenting a free exhibition on superheroes🕺 in the comic cosmos such as Spider-Man 🕷️, Ant-Man and Black Widow.

Bad Homburg is an exciting little town and the youth hostel is right in the middle of the action. Centrally located next to the castle park 🌳 and with the Church of the Redeemer towering in the background. The entrance area with its new modern bar and large seating units as well as the huge sun terrace 🌞 with garden behind the building are already loungy 💆‍♂️.

You can discover culture in and around the town with the Saalburg and the Limes UNESCO World Heritage Site. 👀 And if you need even more big city vibes, then head to the metropolis 🏢 Frankfurt am Main, around 20 kilometers away.

Completely renovated, extended by a new building and 70 beds, the hostel 🏡 will open its doors again from April. Sports clubs ⚽ as well as families and music groups 🎶 will feel very much at home here. During the redesign, special attention was paid to barrier-free rooms and an accessible outdoor area for everyone. Discover, play and feel at home! 😍

A special natural spectacle awaits you in the nearby Oleftal valley until the beginning of May: more than 6 million wild daffodils 🌼 bloom here, transforming the valley into a carpet of yellow.
