A weekend of sports and tourism promotion in Munich 🇩🇪✈️🌍🏈

We had the incredible opportunity to represent our clients, Visit New Jersey and the I LOVE NEW YORK, during the NFL Munich Game 2024 this past weekend. This event was not only a celebration of American football but also a platform to showcase the unique attractions of New Jersey and New York State, two destinations coming together and preparing to host the FIFAWorldCup 2026™.

Our highlights from the weekend:
🍽️ 🍷 Hosted a Media Lunch at the exquisite Schwarzreiter Restaurant, where we were thrilled to feature two of New York State’s renowned winemakers, Roman Roth from Wölffer Estate Vineyards and Hans-Peter Weis from Weis Vineyards. Their exceptional wines added a special touch to the event and showcased the region’s vibrant wine culture.

🇺🇸 🤝 On Friday and Saturday, we participated in the NFL Reception hosted by U.S. Consulate General Munich at the Official Residence of The Consul General of the United States of America, Dr. James N. Miller and well as the NFL Munich Game 2024 reception hosted by the Bavarian State Chancellery at Max-Joseph-Saal. The event featured a curated wine tasting from selected wineries of New Jersey, such as Unionville Vineyards and Auburn Road Vineyards and Winery, as well as the wines from New York State.

🏈 On Sunday we cheered during the NY Giants vs. Carolina Panthers game from the Business Lounge at Allianz Arena, proudly supporting the NY Giants.

This weekend exemplified the power of sports in connecting cultures and promoting tourism. A big thank you to everyone who made this event unforgettable, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to inspire travelers to discover all that New Jersey and New York have to offer.

Die besten Partys sind die, bei denen man ganz vergisst, Fotos zu machen😅
Wir haben letzten Freitag 20+1 Jahre Wiechmann Tourism Service sowie unseren Einzug in die neuen Büroräume gefeiert.
Es hat uns sehr gefreut, zahlreiche langjährige Industry Partner und Weggefährten sowie neue Bekanntschaften mit dabei gehabt zu haben.
Danke auch an die Partner, die zwar leider nicht dabei sein konnten, dennoch liebe Grüße zugeschickt haben. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut!

Heute teilen wir daher nur wenige Eindrücke mit euch. Warum so wenig? Weil wir vor lauter Spaß zu beschäftigt gewesen sind, Fotos zu machen. Das Resultat einer gelungenen Party🥳

Karen on Tour. This time Philadelphia! Bringing six Swiss agents from various tour operators to the city of Brotherly Love.
Touring the city by foot and seeing many sights such as:
Museum of the American Revolution
Museum of Illusions - Philly
City Food Tours
Love Park
Rocky Steps
And so much more. Did we mention all the great food and the wonderful hospitality.

Even had to rescue a snake from some scaredy-cats 😂. Maid of the Mist ride? A must! And those illuminated falls at night? Pure magic! "

"Day 2 in NYC was a whirlwind of iconic sights and unforgettable experiences! We, the group, started the day with breakfast at Penelope’s, then gazed at the city from atop the Empire State Building, where we half expected to meet King Kong himself! The stunning views continued at the uniquely designed SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. Ventured through the city by Metro, stopping for a classic NYC Hot Dog along the way. Took a leisurely stroll along the Highline Park, soaking in the urban oasis. Wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner at Empire Diner. What a day! 🏙️🌭 "

Met the group today and kicked off our tour by overlooking the stunning Manhattan skyline. We were in awe at the newest attraction, The Beam at Top of the Rocks, offering breathtaking views. Don't miss experiencing the vibrant energy of Times Square at night and indulging in some heavenly cheesecake at Juniors. What an unforgettable day in the city that never sleeps! 🌃🍰

Was für eine schöne Stadt.
Gestern DERTOUR Talk & Dine Abend mit über 40 Reisebüro-Expedientinnen im coolen Felix Hotel in Leipzig. Kurzer bummel durch die Stadt und dann heute Schulung im Hause FAIRFLIGHT Touristik GmbH.
Ein guter Start in die neue Woche. Nächster Stopp Bayreuth.

MardiGras Goes Frankfurt 2024! 💚💛💜

Wir haben MardiGras nach Frankfurt gebracht und haben mit unserem Kunden New Orleans & Company an der Karnevalsparade 2024 in Frankfurt teilgenommen.

Natürlich durften Trade- und Medienpartner auf unserem "Float" nicht fehlen.
Als Ehrengäste auf unserem Wagen durften wir U.S. Consul General Thatcher Scharpf und seine Frau, Donna LaPorte Scharpf, vom U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt begrüßen.

Eike Knall von Radio Frankfurt hat live von unserem Wagen aus moderiert und auch der Hessischer Rundfunk war mit Sonya Kraus für ein kurzes Interview auf unserem Wagen.

Ein absolut gelungener Fastnachtszug durch Frankfurt. 🥳
