Clients do not like fuel stops.
Nobody likes, it is obvious.
Because of the pressure change while landing and taking off you might feel something unpleasant, but also your documents will be checked and you might even be asked to leave the jet.
But there is a term "political stop".
Sometimes for the paperwork sake operator might need to make a stop, as if they cross the boarder. What I mean by that: flights from country A might not be allowed to land in country B. To be able to avoid that we need to search for a jet with a particular registration or understand the way it works in advance.
Also sometimes operators lie.
Let's be honest, we live in the not ideal world.
We need to understand that if someone is offering a flight much cheaper than average, there must be a reason.
Fuel stop can be a very unpleasant surprise if you were not told before hand.
For this reason inquire, if the flight will have a fuel stop or not, if it is important for you. It can be very important for pregnant women or sick people for example.
If we place a special request (for example no fuel stops) or jets of YOM not older than xyz we have a chance of having better service with less effort.
Not always the cheapest is the best, especially when we talk about private jets.
Many things are taken into consideration.
Cheap operators love charging extra for everything including landing and taking off, deicing (when in winter) etc.
Some mountain airports can be tricky, for example, Lugano. Those who go there often know, that the airport has a short runway. If the weather is not good, Milano airport will be chosen.
