Tom and I came to Edmeston, NY this weekend. Situated about 15 miles from Cooperstown where the Baseball Hall of Fame is located. We are here for his grandmothers funeral service and to spend time with his family. While it is super cold, the scenery and small town feel can’t be beat. ❤️

We took a walk after dinner in our little downtown area of Camden, SC and I spotted this butterfly painting on a brick wall. Of course Tom took the photo to make me look like I was the butterfly. 😂

Did anyone have frozen waterfall on their 2025 Bingo card? Montmorency Falls is a quick uber or bus ride (about 20 mins) from Quebec City. The waterfall was free to walk around and explore. It truly is a winter wonderland! ❄️

Said to be the oldest shopping district in North America, Quartier Petit Champlain hosts several pedestrian walk ways filled with fun shops and restaurants. During winter it’s magical! The snow and Christmas lights really make it a winter wonderland! It looks just like a Hallmark movie!

If you’re looking for a great cocktail/mocktail check out Bar 1608 at the Frontenac Hotel. The bar is cozy, comfy and a great way to get a break from the cold.🥶

The toboggan in Quebec was made in 1884 and still currently runs today! A ticket for a ride is $4.75 but you can get 4 tickets for $15. The sled can hold up to four adults! Get them on site right in front of the Frontenac Hotel!

We enjoyed a duck tour while visiting South Beach in Miami. The tour guide was full of energy and was very knowledgeable about the city. It was cool to get the history and to see the houses where famous people live. We used Groupon to get a discount for a party of 4. Definitely worth checking out!

My son is a huge Miami fan so we took him around to see all the stadiums. He really wanted to see the Hard Rock Stadium at night…so that’s what we did! It was actually closed to the public last night, but we at least got to see it! I was much more a fan of where the Heat plays. It’s in the heart of the city! We definitely enjoyed some donuts from The Salty Donut too!

The Paradox Museum in Miami was a lot of fun for our kids. A little pricey, but they do offer military discount! If you want to buy merchandise, leave a Google review you get 10% off. The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining all the exhibits!

Reggae Hill was a stop for lunch after Dunn River Falls with the shore excursion. If you want some authentic Jamaican food….this spot is it. If you have picky eaters or those who don’t like jerk, you probably won’t find much here besides drinks. There were 3ish menu options and 1 kid menu option from what I remember. It’s certainly expensive for what you got, but Tom and Nate said the jerk chicken was really good!

Our family took on Dunn River Falls in Ocho Rios, Jamaica! It was tons of fun to climb the falls for everyone in our group. We did the excursion with the cruise line so transportation was provided. You need water shoes for the climb. You can buy them on site for $11 each or you can bring your own. I paid the photo company for our photos because I didn’t know if I was able to take my phone. That was $40 and I felt it was worth it for the group photos.
