The center of Munichs celebration was at the Odeonsplatz with over 3000! people attending, marking it the largest 🍀St. Patricks Day🍀 Parade in continental Europe 🥳

Today is the 85th anniversary of the worst pogrom against Jewish people seen in western Europe in centuries. Known at the time as "Kristallnacht" (The Night of the Broken Glass), the November Pogrom began in Munich's Old Town Hall, and is today remembered as a prelude to The Holocaust.

We had an absolutely lovely last (Oktoberfest) Weekend. The weather would have been absolutely striking for a last day at the festival. Instead we went and visited some great beergardens 🍻 in the city and watched the famous surfers at the Eisbach-Wave 🌊. Three is a charm they say, right? Today we received the sad, but to be expected news that the Octoberfest 2020 is officially cancelled. Surely sad news but clearly the correct thing to do according to the current situation. The festival had now been cancelled 25 times over its‘ 210 year history, last time being cancelled in 1948. In 2021 the #Octoberfest will be back!
