Dubai at night with all the glitter and glamour of the skyscrapers. I always love to be here in winter because the temperatures are just perfect with 25 degrees average. On my bucket list again few hotels and appointments to grow my travel business. More and more clients like my expertise for their hotel bookings. I love to travel and I love staying at beautiful hotels!

this week I visited the seaside town HUSUM, gateway to the Wadden Sea Unesco World Heritage Site. A charmant small town with old fishermen houses and nice taverns serving fish dishes.

The circumference of the remains “Dicker Baum” (“fat tree”) is 6,5 meters: few years ago the beech tree had to be chopped. Now it’s an ideal hiking destination. A little prayer to the Mother of God statue can’t harm;-)

I didn’t want to spend winter on Sylt, days are short, but temperatures are mild. I wanted to have my “old Munich live” back, working as self-employed, but the current circumstances make it impossible. Now I just enjoy being here, having a secured work place as concierge in the best hotel of the island. Adapt and be happy, there is always something good in a different lifestyle

Es heißt, für eine brave Frau gehört es sich, in ihrem gesamten Leben, lediglich zwei Mal in der Zeitung Erwähnung zu finden: zur Geburt und zu ihrer Hochzeit! Meine Eltern haben sich jedoch sehr gefreut, ihre eigene Tochter im Pl***oy wiederzufinden😉. Sunset time is the best time in UAE: the skyscrapers are reflecting each other. Weather at this time of the year is perfect for our bodies, I love the evenings without wearing a jacket. I am thankful for all the great hotels I discovered and for all the great people working in the hospitality sector! They usually give their utmost to make their guests happy.

The legendary camel milk cappuccino with gold leaves is a must at the Emirates Palace, operated now by Mandarin Oriental. I was working 3 years with this hotel group and I am sure the service will be even more outstanding than before. Thanks to Jeff Tseng who gave me a wonderful Showround of this huge iconic luxury Palace!

In the past 18 years I travelled maybe 30 times to UAE, but Saadiyat always stays my favorite place! It’s a natural island which belongs to Abu Dhabi, just 30 minutes to downtown. This time I am staying at the fabulous Park Hyatt: the view from my balcony is just stunning onto the turquoise Sea. Sometimes you see dolphins as the water is clear, and turtles come ashore each year to nest.

Today I had some off-site tasks to run for my hotel. Of course I do this by bike to enjoy the beautiful nature and landscape. As we always have wind on the island, I cycled conveniently with the hotel e-bike of The Severin’s Resort & Spa

We had a fantastic group incentive at the lake Schliersee with our clients, full of activities, team building games, rafting and of course good bavarian food and drinks. We visited the Slyrs whisky distillery and learned a lot about bavarian traditions. The weather God was very kind and made our event an unforgettable one for all participants.

Few impressions of my work neighborhood in the most beautiful village of the island: the tidelands, the thatched houses, the Frisian cows and the absolute peaceful surrounding. Most tourists visit Keitum during the day and evenings are quiet. Usually I take a bike ride before starting my work as a concierge, as it’s always good to know your hood.
