AIM - Advanced Identification Methods GmbH

AIM - Advanced Identification Methods GmbH AIM - GmbH - Ihr Spezialist für genetische Artbestimmung. Artidentifikation für Tiere, Insekten & We can only respect and protect what we know and understand.

AIM is a team of passionate scientists and nature enthusiasts with more than ten years of experience in DNA barcoding. Our goal is to support biomonitoring projects across the globe in order to help preserve biodiversity. Monitoring the diversity of biospheres will help science and industry to understand how biodiversity is being impacted. Globally accessible databases make it possible to catalog

the biodiversity in its entirety – not solely focus taxa – in just one analysis step. Thus, “biodiversity monitoring 2.0” is able to support large-scale monitoring projects in times of ever-increasing demand for species identification, even as numbers of specialists are decreasing almost as rapidly as species diversity. We have advanced our metabarcoding technology of digitally capturing biodiversity, which has enabled us to support over 150 biodiversity monitoring studies over the last four years. We love that DNA enables the visualization of the phenology of hundreds and hundreds of species in a single analysis run. (Of course this also works for fungi, bacteria and plants too!) Stay tuned for the final results of our 2.0 2019 results from our testsite at Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung - UFZ (Leipzig).

Deer oh deer! What did you eat? is a sensitive method which also allows us to detect possible parasitic infections. In this way, we can monitor the health of deer populations, as well as the spread of their pathogens. http://www.aimethods-lab.com/en/dna-metabarcoding/deer-faeces/

Deer oh Deer! Was hast du nur gegessen?
