Neuroscience Career Day 2019

The Career Day Neuroscience is a biennial Meeting organized by undergraduated and graduated students of the international master study programs Neuroscience and Neurocognitive Psychology and the international PhD program Neurosensory Science and Systems. Students have the opportunity to present a poster about their ongoing research. Everyone who is interested (students, teachers and invited speake

rs) is very welcome to visit the poster symposium and support the young presenters. In the afternoon we will have the pleasure of announcing six excellent speakers from different institutes to give an insight into various career fields in the industry (science, research & development, science management and much more) building on an academic education in the field of Neuroscience. The closing lecture will be given by a speaker who is currently working in academia (Dr.Bastian Epp) which give all attending students an idea how to best take up an academic career. The career day will also give the opportunity to discuss individual questions in smaller groups after each talk. This event is a great opportunity for students to get an idea about possible academic and non-academic career perspectives at first hand.
