Our vacation home, on Bell Chanel in Freeport, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas...brought joy to my parents for several years. In the past year, I too have been here several times and enjoy the peace, quiet and tranquility our "Oasis" has to offer. Whether swimming in the pool (which is feet from the back
door), or snorkeling on the beach (about a block walk away), you're sure to enjoy the simple things the island has to offer. Enjoy one of many excursions offered in Port Lucaya, or simply walk to Taino Beach Resort and book your tour thru their concierge. (SCUBA, Shark diving, snorkeling, glass bottom boat, party cruise, tubing, jet skis, para-sailing, horse back riding, four wheel off roading, or nature walk)...you're sure to find something you would enjoy. In the Port Lucaya market place are multiple restaurants offering a variety of food to tempt your pallet. Enjoy and early bird special so you can enjoy a Bahama Mama while listening to music in the square. And, for the Casino enthusiasts...Port Lucaya has the only Casino on Grand Bahama. Our condo sleeps two very comfortably with a king size bed. We also have a pull out couch and two air mattresses available. Pricing as follows:
Stay 3 to 6 nights for $75 a night (minimum 3 night stay. Stay 7 nights for $500 for the entire week
Stay 30 days for $1800 for the month
(Stays may not exceed 30 days)
(No more than two persons may stay in the unit)
All stays require a $75 non-fundable cleaning fee.

Luxurios condo at Bell Channel Bay
This is the former Dan Harris condo - I bought this in 09/2016. After renovation, it is for rent from 10/15/2018.
The condo is perfectly located at Bell Channel Bay - just 3 minutes to go to the Taino beach and two minutes from Taino beach Hotel (Use of facilities is for Taino beach hotel guests only, but not enforced....) Take the Happy hour at the famous grotto bar (from 4pm to 6 pm; 2 drinks for 10$) or go eating at Taino beach restaurant. Book your tours (SCUBA, Shark diving, snorkeling, glass bottom boat, party cruise, tubing, jet skis, para-sailing, horse back riding, four wheel off roading, or nature walk) thru the concierge of Taino Beach Hotel.
If you are tired and want to relax - no problem : Just sit on the terrace of my condo, jump into the pool, which is only ten yards away and enjoy the magnificent view of Bell Channel Bay, the ships and the Pelican Bay Hotel.
Hungry ? - just visit Port Lucaya Marketplace: There are multiple restaurants offering a variety of food to tempt your pallet. Enjoy and early bird special so you can enjoy a Bahama Mama while listening to music in the square. It is easily accessible with the ferry from Flamingo Hotel (just a few steps away). The ferry provides also the possibility to reach Bones Bar and the famous Flying Fish Restaurant (in the top ten of carribean restaurants)- you have to go in the other direction on the walkway at the ferry dock. Don't drink and drive is easy!
The famous Garden of Groves botanical garden is only 10 miles away - it takes only fifteen minutes by car to the premier nature experience of Grand Bahama. Explore winding trails through lush vegetation, cascading waterfalls and sparkling fountains. Visit the picturesque chapel, which has been consecrated and is a favourite place for weddings, prayer and meditation.
My condo sleeps two very comfortably with a king size bed. We also have a pull out couch (Sleeper sofa). All furniture is European style and new (bought in 2018!). Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen (sharp microwave with built-in convection oven, combined refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, oven, stove, two coffee-machines (Keurig and filter), Brit water filter system and an alessi kettle).
There is a small place for work - you can easily plug in your laptop (or use the provided Toshiba satellite click mini) and sit down. WiFi is provided; moreover you can use my ps4 and provide my AppleTV with your AppleID and password to see your favorable TV series and movies. Naturally, the condo has an AC.
