Motorcycle tours based on historic ISDT (International Six Days Trials) racing events.

Route of the Legends is a soon to be launched Adventure Motorcycle Travel Service primarily focused on delivering historical tours based on the International Six Days Trials (also known as the ISDT), which ran from 1913 to 1980. The ISDT as the name implies was a yearly six day long distance and endurance trials event conducted primarily in Europe (although there was one event held in the USA in 1

973). Most of the original events were located in a specific country and region, however, in the early years there were some cross Europe events held that crossed multiple countries. Our aim is to replicate the original routes as closely as possible, staying within the road laws of each country (meaning we will primarily be on paved roads). For your information, the ISDT transitioned into the modern International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in 1981 due to the event becoming more of an enduro style race and motorcycles evolving into lightweight machines completely focused on off road racing.

We are looking for riders interested in a 1 week ADV Motorcycle tour based in the Casentino Valley of Tuscany. Time period is likely June 2025 or Sept/Oct 2025. Endless twisty roads and gravel routes fit only for an ADV Motorcycle, fine accommodation to return to every day, pool, catered meals etc. Interested? Message us for more info. A great loop west of Poppi and Stia; high up in the mountains. Most of the roads here are so bad you need an ADV Motorcycle.

On the list to visit in 2 weeks; the monument to Fabrizio Meoni in Castiglion Fiorentino. If you don't know who he is, look him up. What a hero rider!! He also has a foundation in his name that provides school construction in Africa.

Paid a visit to Rebel X - Rally Engineering and spent some quality time talking Motorcycles with Manuel Lucchese. I can't tell you about all the great ideas he has but they are coming your way soon. Such a talented guy!! Hopefully next time we can ride...the weather in Italy decided to be the same as Iceland this week.

Full owner history, 20,000KM, FULLY serviced, new Michelin Anakee Wild 50/50 tires (extra set of Michelin street tires also included), new MRA taller windscreen, new SW Motech tank bag (ring mount kit), Textile side cases, new rear stainless steel brake line kit. New Acerbis hand guards. I searched for over a year to find an Elefant this nice. Bike is located 30 min East of Nuremberg Germany. I am asking a very fair 4999.00 Euros. Finally got to the Deutsches Enduro Museum Zschopau. What a great museum!! I'll be back soon for research I'm doing for Route Of The Legends and other projects. I was so excited to find a factory works version of the same Suzuki RM 125 that I rode as a semi pro MX rider in the early 1980s.
