mpletely restored from top to bottom with an emphasis on using existing, or recycled materials, maintaining and developing the houses charm, and gardens, while providing our guests with all the modern amenities they may need for a great vacation. In addition to a large, almost four meter wide glass dormer/kvist opening up to a balcony with delicious views of the sea, coastline and local farms, the house has a large and cozy common room with comfortable couches, stuffed and rocking chairs, childrens play area, flat screen t.v. There are lights for every time of day and year and a large vaulted ceiling. There are two bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds, as well as a sleeping loft, with lighting, that sleep 1-2 easily. It is a large, tiled bathroom with a large bathtub, large, separate shower area, lovely views, antique floor tiles and ample space for washing up. The kitchen, also with views over the neighbor´s farm, has all appliances a family might need, as well as a charming attached dining area. The owners live in a second house on the property. We chose this location because of the lovely large garden, situated well-back from the quiet street, its proximity to the two villages described below - which are easily accessible by bus and bike as well as car and on foot. But at least equally important, is the fact that we can walk down to the water on an off-road well-maintained path, and hike or bike in any number of directions and on every tour fall in love again with the nature of the island.
