Groundbreaking demonstration paves the way 🎉

The Auracast audio broadcast technology was tested in a theater in Oslo recently.

The aim with the technology? Enhancing the auditory experience for hearing aid users in public spaces like theaters.

So how did it go....

🫶 Innovative technology: Auracast enables clear, stereo audio broadcast, allowing hearing aid users to connect easily and enjoy a richer sound experience.

🤩 Successful test: Marius Krohn-Hauglie, a hearing aid user & CEO / Co-Founder of SenseAid, reported significant improvements in audio clarity during the demonstration, highlighting the technology's potential to enhance cultural experiences.

🦻 Future applications: The success of Auracast in theaters paves the way for its implementation in various public venues, making the world more accessible for people with hearing impairments.

This is just the beginning of a more inclusive future! Join us in celebrating this exciting leap forward.

How do we ensure that our colleagues feel comfortable to bring their unique perspectives to work so we continue to fuel our innovation?

Not a simple topic.

But in a global company like GN, this is of course a continued focus. This month in particular, we celebrate and build new knowledge through the Global Cultures Month.

How? Through building awareness and providing easy-to-use tools and resources to help teams collaborate even better. All to help us deepen our cultural intelligence. We also got the chance to participate either on-site or remotely in a keynote speech on Collaborating Across Borders with personal insights and practical advice.

We’re sharing a few of the tips we’ve learned so far:

🌎 Go and live in a different part of the world. It’ll open your eyes to new perspectives, and you’ll learn a lot also about yourself too

🤲 Be curious. Ask questions in a way that creates conversation and helps you learn more

🐾 Make yourself acquainted with different cultural perspectives and how they compare to your own – especially reflect on what those similarities and differences mean for how you collaborate with others

People.

That’s why we’re thrilled to meet and engage with hearing care professionals at EUHA this week.

What a joy seeing our great colleagues demoing our innovative ReSound Nexia and Beltone Serene. These devices offer great performance that truly makes a difference to people living with hearing loss.

At another part of our booth, our colleagues are giving people the full Auracast experience, the next generation of assistive listening technology.

This new technology is being rolled out in public places globally and in everyday devices and will make a huge difference to transform audio experiences, making hearing inclusive.
